Hi, I'm a retired police officer for the City of North Charleston in South Carolina. I retired in April 2005 with 33 years in law enforcememt. I also served 4 years in the USAF from 1967-1971. I have a beautiful wife, Roxanne, a beautiful daughter, Stephanie, who served 8 years in the United States Air Force and is now in the USAF Reserves. I have a beautiful grandaughter, born December 1, 2006, and her name is Raena Makenzie and she is the apple of my eye. I love to read and study history of the war for southern independence and World War II.|
Find A Grave is one of my favorite sites, it is very interesting and full of unlimited history. If you have some free time please stop by my mom and dads site and I would like to thank everyone for all of the beautiful flowers and messages left for them, it really means alot to us.

You left confederate virtual flowers on a memorial which is a Union soldier. Thought you would want to know.
|Traci's Mom||Traci Fields|
Because of you and other wonderful findagrave friends, Traci now has 5,260 flowers/tokens, and her birthday is a little over a week away. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! We appreciate you all so much.
I'm in awe! To show you more of what Traci was like, I posted the following on her memorial page,
"Traci, my angel, I can see the big grin on your face for all the flowers you're receiving on your memorial page. You're telling me, "Mom, why are you so surprised there are so many good people in this world? You should have known that....." "You're right, sweetheart, I should have known".
Traci was a person of strong faith, and GOD took excellent care of her, and helped her through all her hardships! Her faith never waivered.
GOD, bless them all, and thank you for your wonderful gift of Traci.
We've received an outpouring of so much love for Traci. I will try to get to everyone's site and leave a flower/token for at least one of their loved ones. However, there are so many of you, it will take me a while.
Sharon (Traci's mom)

Tony, thank you very much for the token you left for my angel daughter Traci. She was a wonderful gift from GOD, and she's in my heart and mind every single day. Her passing has left major holes in the hearts of her family and friends.
I appreciate you helping to reach my goal of 5,000 tokens by her birthday, November 20th.
I'm thankful and blessed for your kindness. GOD bless you for your heavenly heart.
I am so overwhelmed with all the findagrave friends requesting flowers/tokens for my Traci. Thank you ever so much!
Sharon (Traci's mom)

Hello, I saw your post on Edward Hix's page. I was wondering if, perhaps, you are related or if you know of anyone who is related. Thank you for your help.

|Glenn Wallace||Dr. Thomas H. Schaeffer|
Tony, I just noticed your tribute on the memorial for Dr. Thomas H. Schaeffer. Would you happen to have any documentation or resource that we can use to prove that he actually served during the Civil War? I can't find anything, yet he has a C.S.A. bronze marker at his grave site, but he is not listed on the C.S.A. Monument at the Monocacy Cemetery.

You were leaving a flower before I could complete the bio. I, too, am a Southerner by birth and at heart.
