Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an amateur genealogist in the Charlottesville area. Thanks to the wonderful network of volunteers at Find A Grave, I have discovered a goldmine of information on my family history. Since Find A Grave has helped me with my own family search, I'd love to return the favor and will photograph graves in the Charlottesville area for the following cemeteries:

Confederate Cemetery at UVA
Hebrew Cemetery
UVA Cemetery

I will also go to small, private cemeteries if you can tell me their address.

The families I am researching from Georgia are Adams, Barron, Phillips & Randall. I am also looking for Wagner and Spears/Spiritus from Chicago and Emerson and Jackson from New England.

Thank you so much for the photo. I am so glad that you sent me the photo. I have had a few of these with no stone and I wasn't sure how to handle them. This is just wonderful!

Thanks for trying!
Thanks for searching for my relative. According to the Bell Funeral Records, all of my relatives outside of my paternal grandparents, are all buried in Oakwood. This summer, I plan to come to Charlottesville to take pictures of their stones. Thanks for trying to find her.

Lawrence Pitman
Thank you for the information on Lawrence Pitman, I have noted it on his record. I will look further into this. It was from a bible record that he was at Oakwood, but it could have been an error in the recording. I do appreciate your help.

Susan, thank you for the information regarding the headstone. I sent the information to the creator of the memorial and ask that they add it to his memorial. That way it will alert others before they request a photo. Your time and kindness is greatly appreciated.
