I am from Houston Texas. I am a wife of 31 years to my best friend. My life with John is a enchanted journey through time. We were meant to be with each other he says. It is true. I cant imagine going thorugh life without my special man. I am a mom of 2 beautiful daughters. I found this site by accident. When looking up information on Louise Beavers an actress in Imitation of Life, I ran across it. I discovered members of my family my grandparents Elwin Handley, Sadie Handley , and my Uncle jr. The name Coleman, Jackson,Handley were my ancestors. The name Buoy is my husbands side. I began adding other family history and a few friends and people who I have known or have been part of my life, Thank you for any notes you leave, I spend much time here because as long as we remember they are with us. My in-laws William and Mary Buoy. my maiden name Jackson. so many wonderful memories.
9-27-06 I have realized how wonderful Kyu "Kyu-chan" Sakamoto sang his famous song Sukiyaki. What a beautiful song. He was born Nov 10, 1941 and passed august 12, 1985
I love old movies.. I love music (oldies) I love my family, and I really enjoy the nice people I have met here.
I try to put a flower on any (BUOY) name I find. I am very interested in my husband family-ancestors. Or anyone who might be.

Hello I am working on the Thompson line :) and to day I am working on Lizze aka Elizabeth Scarborough Thompson. I have a dear friend here in Oregon and she would have been his great aunt. I wonder is there any one in the family that may have photo of Lizze and or any of her family members? My friend will be 91 this year.
