Bio and Links
Bio Photo It is amazing what one can find in the pages of history! As I continue to investigate my ancestors, I am amazed by those who came before and what I learn about them. So often, those who have gone just become a worn name on a worn stone, but genealogy allows us all to see that each person lived with purpose, just as we do. I love being able to not only see the names of my ancestors, but to know some of the seemingly mundane and fascinating stories that accompany those names.

As I search cemeteries, I often take photos of the graves of veterans or those with interesting markers/ stories. I am very happy to transfer any memorials I have created to those who are related or have interest in the person.

Thanks to all who work hard to help me and others in their searches for ancestors on this site!

Loni Fuller
Photograph permissions
Hello OperaDebbie

My name is Loni Fuller, and Johan George Lyn is my 4th Great-Uncle. I have found his tombstone and other Lynn tombstone photos on FindAGrave, posted by you.

May I have permission to use the photographs for personal use? My attribution is "Photograph of Johan George Lynn, Old North Cemetery, Canfield, Mahoning, Ohio/Photograph "OpperaDebbie" and used with her kind permission".

Please be assured that if you do not wish to grant permission I will not use the photos.

Happy Thanksgiving

Loni Fuller

Thank you so much. I can see you had to work hard to capture the faint words on this stone.

George Lucas
Hi Debbie,
I had requested a photo of George Lucas grave as his obit said he was buried in Hope Cemetery. Sorry you were not able to locate the grave. Is it possible he was buried in the pauper section? Thanks for all you did.

RE: Mattie Strawn
Opera Debbie,
That's ok, about just getting back to me about Mattie Strawn's stone. I guess there is always a posibility of there being two Mattie's. You might have to dig deeper for that information.
Have a Grand day!
