A simple family tree project my son had to do several years ago is what led to my genealogy bug. Every discovery is like opening a present and being a photo lab tech finding a photo is gold. This being said I am always willing to help and share if I am able. I am a member of Ancestry.com, Tribal Pages, McKeesport Heritage Center, and World Transcription Project. Most of my contributions are of no personal relation so if you would like transfer of the memorials please notify me. Feel free to use any photos I have personally taken for your own family tree purposes (a note of thanks is always appreciated). The cemeteries I have photographed are done just by walk and snaps so they are not always complete. Any correction or additions can be suggested to me through "Find A Grave" Please use the edit tab on the actual memorial.|
Every person matters... whether their stay on this earth was long or short. They have molded us into what we are today. Looking at the big picture we are all related. We all belong to the Human Family.

I thank you for all the unsolicited obituaries that you have contributed to Find A Grave memorials, especially of my family members. When I revisit my memorials it's a welcomed surprise to see that you have added a new obit, many from a different source. Thanks again.
Thank you for the heads up - he is now deleted.
Enjoy your weekend,
Thank you for the obituary. With that, I was able to fill in more details for him, his children and step-children, his ex-wife's family, etc.

It appears this memorial is a duplicate of another. The other is much more complete in regards to the information on it. Perhaps this one should be deleted?
I just realized I forgot to list the memorial numbers for my grandparents and great grandparents. Here they are:
Anna S Carolan # 56000298
Michael J Carolan # 56000297
Francis E Carolan # 56000296
John F Carolan # 56009295
Mary D Carolan # 56000294
Mine is : 47153320.
Sorry about the mixup

I was also wondering if you would consider transferring these Memorials to me as well? As stated in my previous message John F and Mary D, are my grandparents. Francis is my step grandmother. Thankyou so much for all your work,
Sincerely, Jill Cooper Childress

My name is Jill Cooper Childress. I am a fellow member of Findagrave. Anna and Michael are my great grandparents through their son John and his first wife Mary.
Thankyou so much for all the work you have done to help those of us who live out of state, with our research. I was wondering if you would consider transferring their memorials to me?
Thankyou so much,
Jill Cooper Childress
|Phil Knox||Alma B Rugh|
I first thought this tombstone must be that of Alma Rugh, d/o Damuel T. Rugh.
There is a record (SS death index) showing a Alma Rugh b. 12 Feb 1917, d. 2 Feb 1898 Last res: Oakmont, Allegheny co., PA.
The above record dates fit the tombstone dates, etc. Must be the same Alma rugh.
But Alma Rugh d/o Samuel appears in 2 census records. She is shown to be 4 years old in 1910 and 14 in 1920. Clearly this is not the alma of the tombstone.
On the memorial I have now removed Samuel and wife as the parents of the tombstone Alma.
I will keep looking to locate her proper parents,, I have a lot of Rughs in my database.
