Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been doing Geneaolgy for 30 years. Before that was my Great Aunt Lois who for years did family history. And who helped many Gen. author's with their research. Also her cousin Bernie who did the first Clan MacBean Geneaolgy books. Then corrected, revised and expanded and in the hand's of Dr. Joseph S. Bean. Still being updated even now by Clan MacBean, Inc. since many families are still incomplete. I guess you could say it's a family hobby.
The photo? From back in the day. Jul 1976 actually. They said I was the first mother (of two) to join the Armed Forces after they finally decided, ok, I guess we gotta. But who believes recruiters? My CO said the same thing so I guess I'll accept it.....anyway, I'm a grandmother now and quite happy about it! Spoil rotten hand back is my motto!
................. I lost my sister Dec 2013 and have not been doing much here or anywhere. I do try to answer messages and such but for now my heart isn't entirely in it. Do forgive if I missed something or wasn't as on top of. In time.

RE: RE Percival Lowell
It is still a duplicate of the 2002 memorial, whether it was transferred to you or not, and should have never been created. All the information should have been sent to the original.

Her Father's name was Col. Edward Hilton, memorial # 54926553. I thought you would probably like to add that link to your memorial.

Thank you

Hannah Remick
Hi Paula, I've been looking into the Remick family, trying to find out Christian's wife's maiden name, and if this Remick family is connected to the Remick's of NH. I don't believe Hannah's maiden name was Foster, as this Remick line doesn't show up in Massachusetts until 1692, with Christian & Hannah's son Abraham. He married Elizabeth Freeman in 1692, she was from Eastham,Mass. I did find a Maine record showing a Hannah Thompson, born in 1633 in Kittery, Maine, and died after 1711 with the name Mrs. Christian Remick. Hannah Foster was the daughter of Anna Alcock-Foster, she was born in 1642 in Andover Mass, and she married a Hugh Stone. Hugh killed her in 1689, in Andover, Mass. There has been so much confusion over who Hannah Foster married, because she was accused of being a witch, along with her mother. I have never found Hugh Stone's grave, he may not have one. Hugh Stone was executed for murdering Hannah.
The story is... Hugh & Hannah had just sold a small piece of land, and we're walking home, quarreling about the sale, he reached out with a knife, and "fetched away the soul of her who had made him a father of several children, and would have yet brought another to him if she had lived a few weeks longer in the world" (by; Cotten Mather D.D.) Hugh was arrested three times prior to murdering his wife, all for drunk & disorderly in public. This information was from the Stone Family Association. Found on

Thank you for the specific reference, "Plantagenet Ancestry..." Very helpful, especially since we are so prone to assume that royal lineage is correct if it sounds good.

RE: Nancy C. Eddy Avery # 11815329
Since you descend from the John of Taunton line and I descend from the William Eddye of Cranbrook line, you can tell I am not related to Nancy so no transfer is necessary, but thanks for the kind offer. However, my Grandfather told me he met Nancy at an Eddy reunion or get-together around 1900 and they corresponded for several years after that. I remember specifically that conversation because her "middle" name was Clapp which stuck in my mind. Recently while doing some Eddy genealogical research I noticed Nancy's family and picture so I posted the picture. Just a friendly connection. My line is William Eddye, Samuel, Zachariah, Joshua, Peter, Jonathan, John, Jonathan, John, Martin, Edyth Eddy married Ward G. White, then Me, Ward C. White.
