I'm working on my family trees. Something I started years ago, but kept getting put on the back burner.|
I enjoy finding long lost relatives and putting all their information together so they are not forgotten.
In my spare time I enjoy adding photos of tombstones and adding the obits to the memorials. Maybe I can help someone find a relative with some information in the obit., or at least tell something about the person.
If I have placed a flower, I either knew that person or they are somewhere in my family tree.

My great great grandfather William Philip Smith was born in 1814 in New Jersey, lived in Pennsylvania, and moved to Iowa. He died in Mt. Pleasant in 1871. It doesn't look like there is a connection. I, too, am at a brick wall in finding his Smith parents.
|Ralph Brown||RE: Keck's|
I have the obituaries of Mary Julia (Wilmeth) Keck, died 1954, and of her son William Rex Keck, died 1956. If you would like, I could scan them and email them to you. My great aunt Hattie (Mogel) Wilmeth, who died in 1957, kept a scrapbook of interesting articles, including these obituaries. Her husband William Wilmeth was a brother of Mary Julia Wilmeth.
I have added the obituaries for Frieda Obermann and Arthur Oberman. I had added Arthur's when you first sent the email and just realized that I hadn't added Frieda's. They are both added and thanks so much. I'm alittle comfused at the spelling of the last name when they were sister and brother. Who know's.
Thanks again so much,

Debbie, thank you for the transfer of this memorial. I really appreciate it and the work you do. With Johnnie and me and Findagrave, it's pretty much a case of the right hand not knowing what the left is doing. He helps take photos and processes them and I upload them and input information on findagrave. So if it's from here it's me (Lucy), if it's in email, it's him. (Unless he's discovered the password!) Have a great day. I hear it's snowing in LaGrange.
