Dr. John Gregg
Bonnie,

My family came from Jackson County, MO by wagon train in the late 1800s to Arizona. In an account written by my great aunt (who was a child on that trip), they "picked up" Dr. John Gregg in NM. He was temporarily staying there because of an injury and then amputation of his leg. My aunt's account says he got this injury while cleaning a pistol he used to scare off horse thieves. In an article about him in our local paper, it said he got the injury while serving in the Civil War. Do have any idea which account is correct? Please correspond with me by email (kslaven@cox.net) if you can help.

THANKS!
Thanks so much for adding my kin to find a grave and for the Ellison family! It is so rewarding to see the links to the families happening. I love the virtual family groups and the virtual pedigree charts at find a grave.

I appreciate you a LOT!

Your dad must have been some kind a guy. I appreciate all you have posted for him. I know he was very proud of his family.

Sorry we lost him at such a young age.

Semper Fi to him.

Jonathan Funnell
George Gallagher
Dear Bonnie,
My name is Jonathan Funnell! I'm 19 years old and I live in Zephyrhills Florida. I loved reading about your dad George Gallagher! He seemed like a pretty interesting and nice person eventhough I never knew him! I liked the photo of you and him in Pheonix AZ in 1984. He kinda looks like my older cousin Mike Acres in that photo! God bless you Bonnie and May God and his son Jesus Christ take very good of your dad George Gallagher!
Sincerely
Jonathan Funnell!

Thank you for sharing all the pictures of George Edward Gallagher. I didn't know him but I sure got a memory and a good giggle out of his stripped pants in the 70's. I know he is missed.
