Bio Photo Being a photo volunteer for Find A Grave has become my primary hobby, and has inspired a belief that every person deserves that their time, regardless how little or how long, be preserved in grave marker photo's before time and the elements takes it's toll and they are lost forever. Having the opportunity to provide others with grave marker pictures, who otherwise, may never have a chance to see them, is a gratifying experience. I strive to get the best possible photo, although deterioration, or location, of some markers makes that difficult.

Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

Good morning, Mike. Thank you for locating and photographing the tombstone for Richard Wesley Lane. Also saw your photo of the grave beside him (Amy) who I assume was his second wife. Have a great day. Pat Cronin

Thank you so much for trying, I will see if I can find her death record again and let you know what its says. Its possible that she might not have been buried in the place they said for some reason.
