Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a homemaker. I am married, no children. My hobbies include genealogy among other things. I have other interests also. I volunteer for our library by delivering library materials to people who are homebound. I love to read and play computer games (those that challenge my mind).
I have decided I won't be contributing memorials to FindAGrave, except for those who pass away from my church, the Church of St. Bridget in Glassboro, NJ. I will, however, correct any that need correcting, so please e-mail me. I will also transfer any memorials to those who request them.
I don't know why there's a statement on my Profile page stating that I'm a photo volunteer. That's not true. I have done a few photos, but am NOT a photo volunteer.
I have been back on F. A. G. for some time now and have been trying to add information from the new Edit column. I'm doing the best I can.
Sometimes I do get Suggest A Correction in the traditional way and that's fine, however, if you DON'T list an e-mail address or LEAVE A PUBLIC MESSAGE statement and I have a question, I can NOT get back to you.
If I can't get back to you, I may not be able to do what's suggested.
NOTE: LEAVING A PUBLIC MESSAGE IS FINE. FOR SOME REASON, THIS IS NOT SHOWN UNDER MY PROFILE.

ON MARCH 18, 2014, MY DEAR BROTHER HARRY J. O'TOOLE, SR. PASSED AWAY. I HAVE ENTERED A MEMORIAL FOR HIM ON THIS SITE AND IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO ADD A REMEMBRANCE, YOU ARE PERFECTLY WELCOME TO DO SO.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

ON MARCH 21, 2015, ANOTHER ONE OF MY BROTHERS PASSED AWAY. MY BROTHER JOHN P. O'Toole, Sr. passed away unexpectedly from heart problems. He went quickly and quietly. You are more than welcome to leave remembrances on his memorial for which I thank you.

ON JULY 18, 2015, ANOTHER MEMBER OF MY FAMILY PASSED AWAY. MY SISTER ANN WENEY(NEE O'TOOLE) PASSED ON.

JOAN

NOTE; I WANT TO THANK THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE LEFT REMEMBRANCES FOR MY BROTHER HARRY. SOME CONTRIBUTORS DON'T HAVE PUBLIC MESSAGES AND THERE IS NO WAY I CAN ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR KINDNESS.
ALSO, I WON'T BE ADDING NEW MEMORIALS. I WILL BE ADDING TO MY OWN FAMILY, THE O'TOOLES, THE FERROS, AND THE PACITTIS.

Thank you for adding the information. He was the husband of my husbands 1st cousin 1 time removed. I have one other poem you might like. I however do not know the author of this one. I also have a box of pictures that neither myself or my sister have any idea who they are and there is no one left to tell us.

Ancestor

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.

It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.

Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.

I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

No sledding for me! I did do a lot of baking. The 2 Ellis Lovejoy memorial was done by Evening Breeze & you.

Stay safe!

RE: A thank you note
Hi Joan, Yes I'm still working on Hillcrest Cemetery and will be working on it quite a bit longer. During the warmer months I took thousands of grave marker pictures of which I still have a couple thousand more to take. Then during these cold days of winter it gives me a chance to post a lot of them. The one problem is I only have time to add about 20 memorials a day so this has really become a long term project. I enjoy it though because while studying my family tree I have received quite a bit of information from Find-A-Grave and am glad I can help others tracing their tree. Like you I am more then happy to add information anyone is willing to give to my memorials to make the searching easier. Take Care, Bill

RE: Helen Krise's memorial
How nice of you to offer to transfer Helen's memorial. I am researching my mother's paternal side of the family and as I find more and more information it would be easier to update the memorial if it were in my care, my # is 47992784.
Thanks so much,
Sharon
