Request for Alice Wade, Mulkey Cemetery
There is no headstone for Alice Wade next to or in the area around Karnes Wade. The only other Wade is James Wade, 9/14/1928-7/8/1905. I have pictures of the area if you would like them. I also have phone numbers for cemetery contacts, all volunteers, if you would like them or you would like me to call and verify her burial at the cemetery please let me know.

RE: WOLF's in North Dakota
Tongue in cheek everyone of Deutschland and Norske in ND are related... Frankly I see a lot of cemeteries that are forgotten, or lists of burials from years gone by, not entered where folks can find the ancestors in an easy manner. My grandfather was born in Dakota Territory long before it became a state. Besides I am excited every time someone asks to transfer or correct on such a place it really is worth the time. Take care.

RE: Doctor Research
Notes taken from "The Trueblood Family in America" by Bula Trueblood Watson, copyright 1964.

"...Jeremiah was a medical doctor, having studied in Louisville, Ky., which was a center at that time of the medical profession with five medical schools. The Hospital School of Medicine was the school from which he graduated with an M.D.; however, he took post-graduate courses over the years. Dr. Trueblood had a special degree in children's diseases from Cincinnati, Ohio. he was very successful in his profession; he lived and practiced medicine for a few years in Vincennes. He had a home at 5th and Perry. He lived and worked at his profession in a little village near his farm and died there.

Edna Trueblood White writes:

Jeremiah was born on the old homestead place in Orange Co. (A strip of what was Orange County became Lawrence Co.; thus, the confusion of the location of the old cemetery). The old cemetery is there on top of a knoll in a pasture with barbed-wire fence. Ralph and I visited the place about a year before his death (1944). Ralph climbed over the fence and found the old black marker for Josiah, and our grandfather. The old farm house where Josiah (E-191) died and which Josiah (D-61) had built with its twelve inch thick walls is still standing and lived in. Josiah (E-191) farmed and ran a meat packing business in the river back of the old homestead. For those days he was considered wealthy.
