Bio and Links
Bio Photo In the spring of 2010, I became interested in finding out more about my father's family. My g-g-g-g grandfather, John P Lyle, settled in Paulding Co, Georgia, sometime before 1840. It is thought that he received land in the 1832 land lottery of the Cherokee lands. I worked on the LYLE family tree and then started looking for the graves of my extended family. I spend the majority of my time looking for graves in Paulding County and the counties that surround Paulding, such as Haralson, Polk, Bartow, Carroll, Douglas, Cobb and Cherokee. I have found this to be a great way to fill in those extra hours I now have in my life as a retired person.
I have to give credit to my brother, Tom 'CC' Lyle, and to my 1st cousin once removed, Dianne Eberhardt, for allowing me to use their genealogy research information in several of my FAG memorials.

RE: Rowlenson family
Hi Sandy,
You are welcome for the info and photos. I saw Gertrude Rowlenson's name (1884-___) on the monument, but I couldn't find an obit or death date for her, and I couldn't prove she was actually buried there or not.
If you get info from the cemetery confirming her burial there, you could create a page for her and I could add the photos. Just let me know.

Thanks for tutorial on adding memorial w/o knowledge of cemetery. I have tried that in the past but I kept going around in circles. I will try again doing Edwin Theodore's wife (my namesake)

I'm so excited to see my great-grandpa on Findagrave.
THANK YOU!

Ida and Annie Vicker's Mother
How were you able to add their mother w/o knowing her burial location? They had a brother Edwin Theodore who was my great-grandfather. I know where and when he died, I just can't locate him in a cemetery. I would like to add him and my great grandmother to FindAGrave but it won't let me past putting in a cemetery. Any ideas?

RE: William Johns & Elizabeth Faulkner
Yes, that is fine. I will double check with my dad but I'm faily sure that it is correct. I looked back at my photos of her grave and compared the dates. I would be glad to take it. You have done such good work. Thanks so much. I had wondered if we are related with the amount of work you have put into the family history of the Johns side of my family.

Hi Sandy, I sent you an email and I'm also leaving a public message just in case. Would like to get this memorial transferred to me if you don't mind. I know you've done a lot of hard work and I appreciate it.
