Bio and Links
Bio Photo I applaud everyone for their additions to Find A Grave. I have found a lot of burials on this site for family members.

Please do not hesitate to leave me a message if you have something NICE to say about anyone. If you want to be unkind, please do not leave a message. I will delete it.
(quote above copied from DaveV)

Also, if I have added a photo you would like to have a copy of, feel free to copy from the memorial page. That is the reason I put it there.

The memorials I have added have been made to assist those who do genealogy. They are not intended to hurt or upset anyone. If one has been posted that you prefer does not appear, just kindly contact me and it will be removed immediately upon request. (love this quote from T M & M L)

Sorry if it takes me a while to answer or accept your edits. I am NOT ignoring your requests, just not seeing them as often these days. I had to step back and take a break from Genealogy. Seems to be getting overwhelming again. I will get to them as soon as I can!

I note the date of birth indicated on the death certificate as 1886, but the 1900 US Census for the family states a birth of September 1885. Do you have additional documentation on birth?

Willene Williams Hancock #119858129
I have posted the obituary you sent me and processed the edits you submitted for Willene. I am wondering if her mother is Lizzie Chalfinch Williams, and I have temporarily linked her as such. Please let me know either way, and I will update her memorial accordingly. Thanks! :)

RE: Mary Ann Williamson #57347430

Thank you for removing the death certificate copy.

So -- is 1850 or 1841 her birth year?

RE: Mary Ann Williamson #

Are you sure the data you sent is for this person's memorial..... as it doesn't match.

The marker or the names of the parents or the dates on the death certificate are not the same. Also the death certificate has her age as 85y-5m-7d and the marker has her age at 78 years.

Please check your data again and perhaps the death certificate and/or marker should be removed from the memorial.

Find A Grave contributor Susan Williams has made a suggestion to you regarding your Find A Grave memorial for Mary Williamson.

Their suggestion:
Daughter of Richard B. Flake and Keziah King. Wife of George Williamson

RE: 16911878 David W. Williamson
Susan, Thanks for your interest and assistance on other occasions. My David W. Williamson was born 1816 in SC and died 1862 at White Sulphur Springs Hospital in Va. and is buried on the grounds. This has been confirmed by Bible records found by Maxine Williamson. Our Williamsons did come to SC from NC.

Florence Kneece Williams
Hi Susan,

I am one of the folks that RO Williams was speaking of when he left you a message about Florence Kneece Williams (who was buried in Beaver Creek Baptist Church Cemetery based on her death certificate and obituary from 1945. I have a copy of both if needed. I only know that she and her young son Nockler were buried there. Her husband James was buried elsewhere, we believe he may have been buried in Blackville in the Memorial Gardens, but I am Missouri and I can't go look for myself. You mentioned you had a photo of the grave that was faded with the name Williams on it, could I possibly see it? My email address is

Do you photograph in Blackville in Barnwell County? Have you seen a James Williams, a James J Williams or a Jim Williams who died in 1939?

Thank you so much, I look forward to speaking with you!

I noticed from the Beaver Creek BC page that you have recently visited there and have taken photos of all the graves. Some folks from out of town contacted me a while ago and were looking for a James J Williams (1875-?) and his wife Florence Kneece Williams (1877-1945). They said that Florence was for sure buried in Beaver Creek BC in Neeses and that James J Williams has an unknown burial. The death certificate for Florence has Blackville as her burial, and I was going to visit there tomorrow. Can you recall seeing this Florence K Williams in Beaver Creek BC? This would save me from having to roam thru the cemetery looking.
