I was born Newberry, SC. When I was seven months old, my parents relocated to Columbia, SC. I'm the last child of six. Both my parents and two of my siblings are deceased. I'm a descendant of the Leitzsey's, Suber's, Koon's and Livingston's from the Newberry, SC area. The picture above is of my maternal grandparents, Charlton Levi and Addie Melvina Koon Livingston. The lady on the right is Ida Irene Koon, Addie Melvina Koon Livingston's sister.|
My paternal grandparents were Arthur Gibbs and Minnie Lee Suber Leitzsey.

Please do not add the following to any of my memorials:
*Death Certificates. Nine times out of ten, I have seen the death certificate. The memorial was probably created from the death certificate. This is not the place for death certificates - it is a place to honor the lives of those who have gone before us.
*Scanned obituaries/announcements. Should you have an obituary, type it in a Word format and send it to me by Suggest any other correction or addition and I'll add it to the bio giving you credit. When I see scanned obituaries on my memorials, I will ask you to remove it or I will have it deleted by FAG.
*Funeral home photo's. Please don't upload these to my memorials. FAG's guideline states: Only post photos for which you hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)! and No photos taken from other web sites!!!

Thank you, Sue, for calling my attention to the duplicate. I think this was a glitch from the Find A Grave site. I've had this happen, heretofore, but I usually discover it. This time, it escaped me, so thank you very much for letting me know. I have deleted the duplicate.
Hope all is well with you and I hope you and your family have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm glad you knew about the index. It was a lot of work to transcribe the cemeteries, but it was worth it. I have all the cemetery books, but use the index a lot.

Sue, I did more research & I keep getting Williams as Allie's maiden name. Her mother must of remarried since Allie's obit has brothers with Vance last name. I added Allie's obit. ~ Pj

Sue, I changed Allie Skeens maiden name to Williams. I think I excepted an edit for her maiden name. I'm going to try to find an obit for her to see if it lists parents or brothers which would help on her maiden name. I'll add the obit if I find one. Let me know if you want a copy of the obit, I can email to you or let you know I added it. Thanks ~ Pj

Thanks for accepting the suggestions. I'm currently working on new graves in the Salisbury cemetery.

I have been told that this is a new rule. They just recently implemented it, so I said I was deleting mine to not cause a problem, but maybe you should have the facts straight before adding memorials. I had the memorial correct first, but since he isnt a family member of mine it doesnt bother me to give you another number to add to your over 15,000 memorials.
I will delete mine to save from causing any problems, but according to Find a Grave rules, whoever has the correct burial place is the contributor of the memorial, others are the duplicates.

Thanks, Sue. I just removed mine as promised. I appreciate your prompt response.
Have a great day!
