David Collins
Thank you for the information on this grave. I believe that this David Collins may have been a Civil War veteran in the 14th OH Volunteer Infantry, Company A. From his Civil War Pension card, he likely died in 1867. Of course, I am not sure that this is the grave of that David Collins, but was hoping for confirmation. BTW, he served from early 1864 until July of 1865. He took part in the battles leading up to the capture of Atlanta and then was on Sherman's March to the Sea. He was a POW in South Carolina, but was soon released.

Thank you so much for letting me know about how to contact the cemetery to find out the plot number in Mt. Elliot. Thank you for the detailed instructions--- I really appreciate your taking the time to let me know.
I did fill out the form, but have not heard back from the cemetery yet. When I do, I'll add the plot number to the memorial and I'll request a photo again.
