I love genealogy and working on my family history to know who I am and what kind of people I descend from. It has been an amazing journey to say the least. The amount of history in my direct lines on both sides is profound and had a huge impact on America and my family. From the Revolutionary War to the Civil War to a conductor on the Underground Railroad as far as the east is from the west my lines have spanned. From George Washington to Abraham Lincoln and many in between my ancestors have graced the presence of many influential individuals and been a part of history from surveying the Cheat River area to marching to the sea with Sherman and on detail to guard a President of the United States to being ambushed by a southern sympathizer and left to die. My family's legacy is one that I am proud of and I do this in honor of them.
**You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.**Per FAG Guidelines
Please do NOT email suggestions just because you would add information a certain way or want it displayed a certain way. I do most of my transcriptions and photos in Ohio, WV and PA. I add what is on the tombstone, death records, obits, etc. If I don't transfer a memorial that is because it is one of my relations.
