I find 'Find A Grave' a great research tool. I'm retired, living in Traverse City, Michigan and using genealogy as a way of keeping my mind active. I have been president of Grand Traverse Area Genealogical Society and am a member of Austin Family Association of America.|
I do transfers, links, change information and anything else I can to make FAG a place that is user friendly. It is the members of Find A Grave who make it great place to spend your research time.
If you are related to any person on my memorial list, send me and e-mail or a public message about your family.
My family lines are Austin, Penix/Penick, Paradis, King, Bowman, Joseph, Taft, Seelye, Todd, Pinette, Nadeau, Rose, Reed, Barker, Lovejoy, and Foster.

|Steve the Kitemeister||Thank you for the Transfer|
Thank you Mary for the quick transfer of my cousin. I have been doing genealogy for over 40 years and really appreciate your quick response. I think this site is excellent for future family members who want to research their family history. I have researched my family back to the 12 century on both sides and am now trying to update some of that information in Find A Grave. Thanks again for your help and kindness,
|Paul Shobert||RE: Rock Falls Wagener family|
The spelling WAGENER is consistent all the way back to France in the early 1800's, all public records here and with each Census. Pierre Wagener and his family were residents of Harbor Beach for a long time and were very prominent there. My immediate SHOBERT family lived in the area for 5 generations.
Hi Mary, I would be happy to manage the Wagener memorials.

Thanks for the transfers.
|Marilyn Golema||RE: Balcer|
I do have a question for you. It appears Our Lady of Lake Huron is adjacent to Rock Falls Cemetery. Alex Balcer is listed as being buried in both. Do you know which he is actually buried in?
|Marilyn Golema||RE: Balcer|
I would be glad to take management of the Balcer memorials.
Thank you for letting me know that the marriage year was incorrect. It is corrected now. Also, thank you for all of your work on Find A Grave. This site has helped countless people because of selfless volunteers like you!

I've transferred Gabriel's memorial to you since I'm not a direct descendant and you are (he's a cousin). I was misdirected on the Kamouraska cemetery, so I see have more relatives that will need moved - thanks for the heads up.
I actually already had the information from the inscription up in the body of the bio, I just added the "Inscription" that you had on your memorial and gave you credit (since it was from your memorial that you created after mine).
I've done extensive research on this family line, which is why there are so many siblings, parents, etc. attached and detailed bio's. I'm always happy to transfer non-direct ancestors though...

I've added your marker inscription from the duplicate and have given you credit for it. Thanks!

That is a very kind offer. I am not related to her, either, but have been asked to help a relative pull together a family tree. She is in good hands. I'll just send updates as I get them. Thank you so much.
