Bobby Carrol Shipley
Dear Scot Thank you for such a quick reply.I know Bobbys mothers name is rosemary Shipley.I talked to her once just recently and she is a very kind and sweet lady.I know his grandfather lived in Corning and I believe his name was Fred.I also know that Bob instructed the local police dept.the art of self defence. This was in the late 1980s.His mother would be the one to talk to.One of his greatest passions in life was trying to make a difference in the war on Drugs! He was always there for anyone who had a problem. Also he was an excellent Realtor and a very good Computor tech.He helped out at Columbia Mo. University. He accomplished a lot in his too short of a life.I know it was Gods plan but I sure wish he was still here in the flesh.I feel him around me a lot and I talk to him. Thanks again for your compassion.

RE: mattie adams
Yes, I found it yesterday. Her name on the request list was Martha and I hoped at the cemetery that it was her The dates matched. When I got home and looked online, it is indeed her. You're so welcome.

You Merged our Mem
Please note the dialog from Lois in her below e-mail, you should, for her include along with your input the general scope of what she liked and we will leave the issue a lone.

What a wonderful thing you did for me Mike. There are a couple of minor errors but I can correct them later.
One is he died in the hospital at Alva, OK Woods County. Records say I was 18 when married but I was
actually (16 I lied)
I use the genealogy you made for me several years ago all of the time. This one is even better.
Now the first day is over, the next landmark is a week, a month, then years until we meet again.
My sincere thanks for all you have done for me.

Sent you an e-mail concerning a dup. Mem you created on my Cousin, Wayne. These things happen, but I checked the cem. before and after my creation and yours was not included, you will not in the laddering of siblings under his parents yours is the second entry. All of data on my memorial was chopped via Lois, his wife. My Mem. is # 160906312, you will note that I also connected their deceased son, Danny Dwayne to him. Therefore, please delete your duplicate entry.

RE: gertrude
Thanks for the welcome! I've gotten the bug lately and I'm really having fun looking for headstones. I found a couple more requests at the Corning cemetery today. None of them were yours, but I tried.

Genealogy is so interesting to me. I've been working on Samuel Church Fleming and his family for a couple years. His siblings are difficult to find, other than one brother, John Cary Fleming, Jr. I recently found a tree on Ancestry that had a picture of him My family has never seen a picture of any of that part of the family so it's interesting to see what my great-grandfather may have looked liked based on his brother's picture. John Cary died in 1918 at 30 years and is buried at Callaway Gardens. They have a picture of his head stone.

I am planning to go to Richwood soon as I noticed that there were 5 requests for pictures there. I don't think any of the requests were from you though. If you have any, let me know. I'm sharing a blog post that a food blogger just wrote about the Parkview:

Are you or was your partner from Corning?

RE: mazie reeves
Thanks, Scot for sharing the protocol of posting pics and not putting spouse pics on their mate's memorial. It's my first time trying to share pictures. I was thinking from the genealoger's viewpoint and trying to help others connect the dots. I removed Mont from Mazie's memorial.

This weather is so crazy. One day warm, the next day cold. I appreciate you offering to help find Gertrude. Since she is in Find-A-Grave I'm assuming that there may be a some kind of marker. I hope so.
