I have been doing my families genealogy for over 20 years and came upon this site a few years back. It has been a great help in my searches for connecting to my past history. I really enjoy helping others in finding their past history and I hope the pictures and memorials I add help others in their searches.|
If possible "Please" help out your photo volunteers by obtaining the plot information from the cemetery and adding it to your request. Also if you remark that you are requesting both spouses, please submit a seperate request for each spouse. Remember you are asking the volunteers to help you on their own time. Making it easier on them means they spend less time trying to gather/research the data in trying to find the grave locations, which in turn means they can get to the cemetery to full fill your requests that much quicker.
As many of us are related to the same surnames, please only request direct line ancestors for transfers as are in the Find A Grave Guidelines. This means: Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be YOUR siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I will gladly add any information provided via the suggestion tool. Sorry folks, but family always comes first.
If I have accidentally added a duplicate record please let me know and I will promptly remove it.
Oh and 1 more small thing.
ONLY post photos for which YOU hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)!!!
The copyright of all photos posted to Find A Grave remains with the original submitter. No use of photos for any other website or personal use is given without prior consent of the original submitter.

Thanks a Bunch for those gorgeous pictures you put on John Calvin Smith Sr's Grave. They are just beautiful... I had to take the Momerial for his son John Calvin Smith Jr. off line! The family decided for some personal reason that they didn' want him to have Momerial at this time. I wanted to tell you, that you are a First Class Picture Taker! That GraveSite looks so restful & Peaceable because of those pictures... Again, Thanks a Bunch
Hey you are awesome. So many. Thank you. Do I see that the burial headstones are smaller than normal at other National Cemeteries? They look more like the small ones for cremations at LAN. James
Thank you for catching that. I sent edits and deleted mine. James
BTW you take great photos!!!
Can you please add your photo from Memorial 158504981 to spouse Memorial 72609513 Thank you, James

Thank you very much. I have yet to get to this cemetery and was surprised to see how nice that wall is. I am a regular at LAN. James
I was very surprised to see certain information and pictures of my parents grave on this site. Do you randomly do this or is there a connection? Can I get it removed?

Thanks Rob for taking the time for find my shipmate, CM1 Willie Call. Interestingly, his service in Vietnam is not mentioned in the Find A Grave inscription, but it is listed on his marker.
