I live in central Massachusetts and have been working on my family genealogy since the mid-June 2010.
I enjoy photography and am enjoying walking around different cemeteries and taking pictures. I am trying to have enough pictures stored up to get me through the winter months.
I have been to many cemeteries where the stones were old and could not be read or broken and in some cases missing. I want to use my camera to preserve this history for future genealogists.
My project right now is photographing all the graves in the Old Swedish Cemetery in Worcester. I am 100% finished and am slowly working on posting the information here. I work fulltime so, posting items on Find-A-Grave is a weekend hobby.
I have also taken some photos in Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Milville, St. Joseph in Leicester, Center Cemetery in Douglas, and Old Howard Cemetery in Sutton.
If I post a memorial to your ancestor, I would be happy to tranfer ownership over to you. | |

Hello Jean,
First of all, thank you so much for the amazing volunteer work you are doing! Your post of this family grave enabled me to break through in a whole line of Swedish ancestors. I would be happy to take ownership of #65234676 and 65234677, my great great grandparents. Since it seems unlikely that their 22 year old son who was buried with them (#65234678) has any descendants, I will gladly take over that one as well if you wish. Thanks and keep up the great work !

Are you related to Edna Johnson of the Spongbergs families.
Edna is my dil's great aunt and Anna Spongberg was my dil's great grandmother.
My dil was born in Worcester, Ma. Her maiden name is White. Both her father, John White, her mother, Barbara White and brother John White Jr are all buried in the Swedish Cemetery.
