|I've met many very nice members on FAG and enjoy speaking with them all. I especially enjoy looking at the photo's others have taken of very old headstones. Please feel free to copy or use any of the photo's I have taken and posted on FAG. Please don't hesitate to ask for a transfer of any Memorial that I have posted. Julie|

That would be wonderful... Thanks so much,
Kathy Stroope Veasey (#47009271)
I want to say Thanks! I just saw a picture of the headstone at my Aunt and Uncle's graveside. I did know of my Uncle's passing, but did not find out of my Aunt's passing until a year after and that was when I did a search. I had tried calling her to tell her Happy Birthday and no one answered the phone for a couple of weeks so I was concerned.
I was quite upset that at least one of 6 of us were not called to let us know of her passing. The same thing was done for her brother the next year. I was only a month away of his passing because I went and looked right after hers to find out about him as well.
I am going to see if I can find his headstone next.
Thank you again.

Julie, thank you so much for the transfer and your contributions to Findagrave. I have been able to further my genealogy research because of the many memorials you have posted for the early Piemontese immigrants and their families who settled in the Braidwood area. I am on a quest to family-connect as many of them as I can. Best regards, Carol

Hello from France,
Thank you for your message.
Have you an idea or a "way" for me to try to find this family?
Thank you for your help.
Have a good day.

Thank you for transferring my 2x Great-Grandmother.

This is my 2X great grandmothers. Could you transfer her memorial to me (#110429356).
I've never seen her name as Mary Jane, just Jane. That may explain why I have a hard time finding her. Could you tell me where you found her name as Mary Jane?
|Ken's Crotty Connections||Memorial 89901926-Capitola Allison Booth|
Capitola's birthplace needs correction, she was not born in vienna in johnson county but vienna township (verona) in grundy county
|Knit One||Margaret Ennis Slattery|
Margaret Ennis Slattery's birthplace requires correction on her memorial; she was not born at Muchwood Crossroads, County Wexford, Ireland.
The correct birthplace for Margaret is Muchwood, a rural townland of Ballivor Parish, Meath Diocese, Offaly County, Ireland. Her baptism record is solid evidence as follows:
Name: Margaret Ennis
Baptism Date: 3 Nov 1861
Father's Name: James Ennis
Mother's Name: Bridget Donohoe
Sponsor Witness 1: Pat Moor
Sponsor Witness 2: Rose Carroll
Source Information: Ancestry.com. Selections of Catholic Parish Baptisms, 1742-1881.
Additional evidence is provided by the baptism records of Margaret's five siblings who were baptized in the same parish, diocese and county:
Mary Ennis 1859
Patrick Ennis 1861
Anne Ennis 1866
Bridget Ennis 1869
Elisa Ennis 1871
Source Information: Ancestry.com, Selections of Catholic Parish Baptisms, 1742-1881.
Last, Margaret's parents were married in the same parish, diocese and county:
Name: James Ennis
Event Type: Marriage
Event Date: 7 Mar 1859
Spouse's Name: Bridget Donohoe
First Witness: John Gafney
Second Witness: Jane Donohoe
Source Information: Ancestry.com. Ireland, Catholic Parish Marriages and Banns 1742-1884.
Ennis/Slattery researchers and Margaret's descendants all wish for her birthplace to be correct on her very fine Find A Grave memorial.
Many thanks to you, Julie, from Knit One
