Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am currently researching the names Morgan (Guilford, NC and Richmond, IN), Hungerford (NY and Richmond, IN), Rand (MA and ME), Carter (MA and ME), Knight (or Knights, ME) and Matthews (ME).

Management of any memorial will be transferred upon request with pleasure.

I grew up in Wayland, MA and now live in Bonita Springs, FL. I am an employee benefits lawyer with a consulting practice focused on financing retiree health care benefits. I have three children and seven grandchildren as of the date of this writing.

My father was Allen Hungerford Morgan and my mother was Alice Rand Morgan. I am on a quest to put their information on line along with their parents and all the members of my family where I can find the relevant information to do so.

Eveline F Bean
Eveline F Bean was the daughter of John D Bean and Lovina C Libby. Her 1874 Record of Burials does have her place of burial as West Cemetery, but she is now buried in Browns Hill Cemetery in South Portland with her mother, step-father, and several siblings, including my gt grandfather, Edward E Bean. If you think this memorial is the same as my gt grandaunts, then I would mind taking care of her memorial. I now have her memorial #45028225 at Browns Hill.

Phebe Stout Photo
Hi, Charlie

Thank you for taking the photo. I appreciate your taking the time. Unfortunately, it was not the correct headstone for Pheobe Fitz Randolf Stout, memorial #51218913. This is for Phebe Stout Van Antwerp, memorial #61315485 and there is already a photo for her. Thanks again for trying. Don Stout

Thanks for passing along that note! I have a list of those buried in Western Cemetery, and was wondering why I didn't see him on it while the Maine Veteran Cemetery Records showed him as buried there. There he is, under "Megquire"!

RE: Elizabeth Allen
As a matter of fact I do have access to Western Cemetery's records. I have an MS Excel spreadsheet that was sent out by the City of Portland for the purpose of updating Find A Grave entries. This spreadsheet shows their running list of burials old and new, for all City managed cems.

Here is the only listing for Elizabeth Allen:

Allen Elizabeth 11/28/1842 33 F:89 stone baiidly eroded.

Her date of death was 11/28/1842; her age at death was 33 and her plot number is F:89.

Here is the list of all Allens buried in Western Cemetery:

Steven Hungerford
Hi Charlie....

I have another Hungerford who's buried in the cemetery in Batavia. I wouldn't have a doubt that he would be connected to Courtland. Batavia is the County seat.

His stone is quite old......

b. Apr. 17, 1760 d. Sep. 15, 1839

Picture turned out pretty good too :)

Take care...
