RE: Marie Catherine Leinman Becker

I'm missing two of Adam's children. Can't find out what happened to them and I did run across a Becker in Erie, looking for him, but don't think he is one of Adam's.

I don't think Find A Grave wants copies of dc's on the memorials, check the Help with Find A Grave to see if that has changed.

Keep me in mind if you ever find a connection.

RE: Marie Catherine Leinman Becker

I don't have a definite place of birth for her, but given all the border wars they had, you should probably just make a note on her memorial that her birth could be Germany, as on the dc, or France, or she could have been born in Switzerland or even Belgium.

The Becker family I am researching is Adam's. I don't know if he had brothers or sisters. He first settled on the south side of Pgh, but his children lived in Sewickley. Have the same place of birth problem with him and wife. Found both Holland and Germany for him and his wife. So if you ever come across Adam in conjunction with Augustus, let me know.

Thanks for your note.

Erin, thanks for alerting me to the misplaced photo of the gravestone for Maria #1. I've made the change.

Thank you so much for the photos! This is my 5th great grandfather, and I am so pleased to see the marker still exists!

Thank you Erin for the two photographs of her marker at Cemetery of the First Baptist Church in CT. I would never have been able to get this myself. I appreciate the second photo showing the general location which is something I do myself for others. Do I have your permission to use this photo in my personal genealogy material that I will publish for my family?
