Bio

To 99% of the Contributors and Photo Volunteers here at Find A Grave I have four words for you – Thank You Very Much. I have found some really great people associated with this site. Many of them that I have been in contact with have gone way out of their way to lend a helping hand.

In August of 2004 I began to seriously research the families of my dad Ray English and my mom Mary Evelyn Pool.

Ancestors of my two Grandfather's ENGLISH and POOL families as well as ancestors of my two Grandmother's TALLEY and PITCOCK families ventured out from Virgina in the late 1700's and early 1800's. Taking four different paths via Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Texas, four of them eventually made their way to Franklin County, Arkansas where my parents were born.

On a personal note: Jim, we had a lot of fun in our adventures down many roads to lots of places. I remember them all. I know "Little Laurie" is safe in her Daddy's arms finally.

And for crying out loud Shirely, put the mop away and throw the dust rag in the trash. A little dust is okay. Even in heaven.
