Oh my, what an undertaking we take. There are cemeteries available, just for you. Get out of the house, take the photos, enter the memorials, make the links. And for those that prefer to sit behind the computer, criticize others work, rant when others refuse to make corrections to your liking, you're wasting a lot of great times out in the fresh air, don't claim that you can't do it until you have tried it.|

|Rita||RE: William Glenn Bradham|
Thank you...and yes, I was confused about that until I took a look. There is a W C Bradham, Junior that was born about 1920 that is -- as you indicate, possibly still living!! Couldn't find his death record. This Junior is mentioned in the obituary for Dr. Wm. G Bradham. So, W.C. Bradham Senior that died in 1993 is the great grandfather and listed in Find A Grave.
If you check Family Search.org, I have the corrected and updated info. on there!

|Joe Hodge||RE: Marshall/Hodge Cemetery|
Thank you so much for your responses.
I've shared the information with a cousin who is actually going to be in Sumter on Friday.
Collectively , he and I have spent over twenty years trying to verify facts and information that we have obtained,
So, it's without saying, that we really appreciate all of your efforts.
If there is anything that we can share back with you, please let us know.
It's sort of difficult my being in Texas all of my life working on information in South Carolina.
|Joe Hodge||RE: HODGE|
It is Marshall Cemetary in Sumter County.
All Hodge markers.
Thank you so much.
What is your name.?
My name is John Joseph Hodge Jr. a descendant of several folks that are interned in this cemetery.
I have been doing research for a number of years and just now stumbled on this site.
I would be very interested in acquiring photos of several markers and any other possible information.
I live in Dallas Texas.
my email address is firstname.lastname@example.org thank you!

I just want to thank you for all your work creating the memorials and all the tombstone photos. Your work has helped me find family gravesites! You are appreciated!
|Deborah Wall||Floyd Cemetery|
I'm sorry, I'm not perfect.
|Kathryn Wagner||RE: Lake Township, SC|
"Lake Township, SC
Just FYI, I'm declining edits on Lake Township, you're requesting them as Lake City. Lake City is part of Lake Township, but is not all of Lake Township. Leo is on the edge, parts of Cades, near Camp Branch, and is close to some parts of Scranton."
I'm confused. I sent all edits as the death certificates stated. WHICH decline are you referring to? You send so many, it's hard to keep track!
|Kathryn Wagner||Everette Coker Moore|
Sorry, I forgot to leave a reference number of the memorial for Everette Moore for your convenience - #99037958. In my recent edits, I know that I also sent a SAC in reference to another woman's memorial that list her name the same way as Everette's is listed .. with her FIRST NAME, PREVIOUS HUSBAND'S LAST NAME, MAIDEN NAME, AND THEN HER FINAL LAST NAME. I hope that you'll consider editing that one too, so that her name appears as it would as her last legal name. Thank you!
|Kathryn Wagner||Everette Godwin Coker Moore|
I see that you declined my edit to remove the name of Godwin from Everette Moore's memorial. Her name was not Everette Godwin Coker Moore but Everette Coker Moore. I know that we are all tempted to add the names of 1st, 2nd, 3rd husbands and so on, but the order of the name is not correct, when we do so. Her given name was Everette Coker, and when she died, she was married to Mr. Moore. Therefore, her name should only be Everette Coker Moore. I understand that we'd like for all of her names from previous marriages to be listed, but Find A Grave tells us to:
"How do I enter all married names for a woman's memorial when she was married more than once?
The 'last name' is the name that is on the headstone. Include other married names as part of the biography section. The 'maiden name' is only for her maiden name.". If we do it differently than stated by Find A Grave, then the name sequence is out of order. And, she was married to Mr. Clarmon too, yet his name is not included. So, in an ideal world, her name should be Everette Coker Godwin Clarmon Moore, (or whatever order she married these husbands in) but with the name template the way that it is, you can't get it to read like that. Having Godwin right after her first name looks confusing and implies that Godwin was her middle name, and it was not. I think that because there are links for all of her 3 husbands on the memorial for all the world to see, that you should delete the Godwin part out of her name and leave the name as her last legal name ... Everette Coker Moore. Don't you? Thanks.
