I have posted a grave picture to this memorial, you may wish to change the designation of your picture to a person picture so it always show at the top of the memorial (really neat picture of her).
|82Z2pip||Lorna Jewell Strackbein Roeder|
The continuing sage of the children of Willie Edward Strackbein and Mary Ellen Nichols Strackbein. We are missing the daughter Lorna Jewell Strackbein Roeder. I have not found where she is buried. But I did find the following link that says she died in Fredericksburg on September 21, 1987
Nothing on that link about her husband, nor have I found him anywhere on Find A Grave. But the below link gives her husband's legal name as Alfred Felix Roeder. This link is 1947 births in Gillespie County, which would be their son Kenneth Lester.

Lela Mae Strackbein Reichenau Memorial# 41821058. I know where both her parents are now. Mary Ellen Nichols Strackbein Memorial# 117036813 Willie Edward Strackbein Memorial# 53408704 Mary and Willie are maintained by someone else, whom I had left a message for a number of things. The other person linked up everything I mentioned but this. Since you maintain Lela, maybe you can link the parents from her site.

Well, I don't know if you can help with something not managed by you. But here's what I'm not getting results from in Mason County.
But please see the messages I left at
Arthur Plumstead (#46557112). Not sure it he doesn't check regularly, or if he doubts what I've given him.
There is someone I've wondered where they are buried, but I think it might be in Mason County. You see this link http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nichols1836/Alexander%20Green%20Nichols.html
Mary Ellen Strackbein (widow of Willie below) died in 1971, and it was probably in Mason County. But I don't see her in any of Find a Grave.
Also Mary Ellen's daughter Loma Jewell Strackbein married Alford Jack Roeder. They must have been dead for decades, but I don't see them anywhere at Find a Grave, either. Seems logical it would be Mason County somewhere.
Willie Edward Strackbein Memorial# 53408704 His child Lela Mae Strackbein Reichenau Memorial# 41821058 should be linked to him. I emailed Billie Nichols Bennett, but she manages a ton of memorials and probably hasn't gotten to this one.

Kay I took the picture off of the wrong memorial. Guess I was having a senior moment. Thx Janet

Kay could you please use the edit tab at the right top of the memorials. I can not correct these if I can not find the correct one. When I receive this I can correct. Thanks Janet

YOu caught me on a slow day. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
I looked at a couple of your pictures, and there's probably some overlap in the old family group pictures.
I had not seen the picture of Albert as an older man. The picture I posted was a photograph of a drawing that Esther had and that Gretchen got after Esther died. There are lots of snapshots that Esther kept; one poignant photo was of Esther and her younger sister, Toska, taken probably just afew months before Toska died, during the 1919 flu epidemic, when she was 12.
