I actually found this site by mistake, I look through the site and had been interested ever since. I have several friends and family who have pages on this site, I hope you enjoy them.|

You don't give me a great deal of information to go by but I do not find him in my data so I must have found him while researching for my family and posted a memorial for him to help other researchers looking for him.
Annette "Nettie" Couture Williams is in Weston Cemetery (see memorial for site) and Bessie Couture Wolf is in Creek County, Oklahoma (memorial 16920105).
Ella Port Couture Kohl is in Hillcrest, Cuyahoga County. The Ports are in Forest in Toledo.
Please refer to the memorials for the Block and Site and Row. Most of them are in Block B.
Sorry, didn't mean to leave the message twice.
Hi, Angela, I'm not related to the Coutures but just feel a memorial should be more than a name and two dates. I did a little more digging and here are the results:
Martha was the daughter of George W. (1806)and Phoebe (Maria?)Knapp Harvey of New York with brothers William and Benjamin. She married Edward Couture in 1859, and Edward and Martha had eight children with six surviving: Charles, Samuel, George, Lucy, Alice, William, Mattie (Madeline), and Delbert. After Edward's death in 1907, Martha lived with her youngest daughter, Mattie (Paine) until her death.
1910 census: Martha Coutan

Edward Charles was the son of Jean Mendard (1792) and Alice Elizabeth Benson Couture Knaggs(1809) of Michigan and New York who were in Monroe Territory in 1830. Their family had Lucy(1832), Samuel(1833), and Edward(1836). By 1860, Mendard was dead and Elizabeth had married James Knaggs (1785). Lucy was living with them while Samuel was living with the Noyes family. Both Lucy and Samuel were in Monroe, Michigan. Edward Charles married Caroline ? (possibly Delisle) and after her death at barely 18, he married Martha Harvey on 11 June 1859 in Wood County. By 1860, they had a son, Edward, and in 1863 were living in Maumee, Ohio. By 1870, they were in Toledo. In 1880, they were still living in Toledo with children: Charles Edward, Samuel S.,George M., Lucy, Alice, William, Mattie, and Delbert. Edward lived in Toledo until his death. He was a carpenter.
1900 census: Edward C. Canture
1890 census: Edward C. Couture
1880 census: E.C. Couture
1870 census: E.C.Couture
1860 census: Edward Coutens
Would you like me to transfer the memorials to you? Judith
