Thank you so much for taking the photo of Brian's grave. Someone I know was engaged to him and still takes his death hard. It will mean a lot to her to be able to see it anytime she wants.
Again Thank You

I recently got a note from a lady who'd been hunting for her gggrandmother's maiden name for years. It was in an obit I posted. You can imagine how happy she was to finally have that piece of information-made my week to know she found it because of something I did. You just never know when some little thing is crucial to someone.
Thanks Lenore, thanks for all of info and links . much appreciated!
Thanks Lenore, I thought that as did others until we've just done more research to prove otherwise. thanks for all your add of info and links of late. much appreciated!

Thank you so much for the beautiful picture of my Aunt Lorraine's Grave. I do appreciate it!
Hi again, no I don't even reside in SC. SO maybe if you have someone who could go, that would solve our mystery perhaps. I want to say I enjoyed visiting your Dad's memorial. Nicely done..he looks like such a kind, gentle man.
Thanks, I saw that but figured from 1862 the stone could be gone or never was there perhaps. ?
I saw those too. My inclination would be that Preston Arthur is at Granitville but do you know anyone who can be contacted to verify burial list perhaps? Unless he died in Civil War and body wasn't returned to Aiken SC. ?
I'm sure you've seen on ancestry.com that Preston supposedly died in 1862, possibly in Civil War at Windsor, Barnwell County, SC.
He could be at Graniteville Cemetery perhaps have you called anyone to inquire? There is even a wonderful photo of him in uniform. WOuld be nice to add to a memorial on findagrave...IF we knew where he is.
