|I've written and published two family history books and the history of Berryton for its 1986 Centennial. |
I have just finished going through three books about Topekans in 1905, 1934 and 1956 for the third time. They were WHO'S WHO and BUILDERS OF TOPEKA. Also, I'm adding bios from WHO'S WHO IN THE WORLD, 1912. There are still many biographies that need to be added, once their tombstones are copied. I'll put the books away for another year and go back and try to find some more.
About 25 years ago, the local historical society put all the Shawnee County marriage applications up to 1913 on microfilm. They discarded the originals and allowed persons to take names of those they recognized. I gave my old mailman about 50 and he delivered them to people in our township. I have given away hundreds of them. I still had some left over, so I put them on FAG.

Are you family? As the family that I know does not even know themselves so I have been looking for birth/baptism documents; I have several spelling, I just used the one that was most common, though I know that does not make it right, I am trying, would appreciate any leads.

Hi, I noticed that you left a note on the grave of Jane Frances (Bernica) Mullaney indicating that you were a classmate of hers; she is my grandmother, but, because she died very young, I know very little about her. Do you have any memories or stories about her? Thank you very much for your hard work! Any information would be much appreciated!

Joanie, I have updated Mark's page in Mount Hope Cemetery.
|Jacqueline S Brooks||Michael Schwartz and Mary A Baube|
I have submitted Birth and Death Dates for this couple, plus a maiden name correction, they are my husband's 1st. Great Grandparents on his maternal line. Though Mary died in Missouri, she was apparently buried with her husband in Topeka.

|Cheryl White||tried calling you....|
Joanie, I tried calling you this weekend to verify a 1905 Who's Who bit of information. The phone just rang and rang. I'll try again this afternoon ---- and maybe we'll have to make a trip south to your home.
