Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi everyone. I am a wife, mom, grandma, china painter, family genealogist, and now a grave-hunter. My idea of exploring my roots just long enough to answer a couple of questions turned into a 5+ year long project that led me from Ancestry to Find A Grave.
I am happy to share these photos and information with you. If we're related please drop me a note and say hi!

Edith Avarilla Pfenning
I first found out about Find-A-Grave after my father's death in 2012, and became a member less than 2 months ago.

Grandmother Pfenning was my mother's mother. You indicated "First cousin, twice removed" on her memorial, which makes us third cousins if my calculations are correct. I am named after her father. Any information you have on her ancestry would be appreciated, and I will share anything I have if you would like it.

Thank you.

You are very welcome!

My "exercise" these days is walking the cemeteries! I get a lot of it!!!

I am very close to Cherokee, so it is never a problem to find time to stop by for a few photos! And, I always look for family members when there are requests ... and, I only keep my own family!

If you have any others at Cherokee, please just send me an email! :)

RE: Andrew Naugle
Yes my 3 X Greatgrandfather David Henry Huffman married Sarah (SALLY) Naugle in North Carolina. They moved to Mississippi in 1847 with Sally's brothers William and Andrew and homesteaded on adjacent land. Sally's mother and 2 younger sisters lived with them.

No problem. Are you a Naugle descendent?

Selby brothers
Hello Kerri,

I saw where you had left a flower for Nyal and also told me their mothers maiden name was Harrell. I sincerely appreciate you providing that info.

I am hopeful you have or have access to photos of these brothers so their memorials will have photos posted. I never consider a bio completed until a photo is on there. Can you help?

If you enlarge the picture, it can be read with some difficulty. There were several other stones face down in this cemetery, and I paln to get back out there with someone to help me lift them and get pictures. When I do, I'll try to take flour or baby powder to enhance some of these older stones. Afew you couldn't even see writning, they were so old. Was glad to help out with this project!
