I am unable to travel to different cities to search for gravesites of our relatives. Needless to say, I was thrilled when I found the Find a Grave website and all the wonderful, helpful people on it. I have found so many of our relatives listed and have had wonderful people that have been willing to search and take photos for us. |
If you would like to use one of my photos on your family tree, help yourself but please list me as the photographer.
DO NOT use my hard work on another cemetery website or put your name as the contributor on one of my photos. That's just not fair or considerate.
If you have data that you would like for me to add to the memorials that I have created, please send it to me and I will update it as soon as possible.
I am posting memorials using the Find a Grave guidelines as I see them. If it is not to your liking, I'm sorry. I WILL NOT respond back to hateful and ranting messages. So don't bother to send them.
I will be glad to transfer any memorial that I have listed to a family member if they are not in my family's trees. Please be sure to add your member #, the person's ID number and your reason for wanting the transfer when making the request.
Please use the edit button at the top of memorial pages to make data corrections or additions. I'm sorry but emails without a memorial # will be deleted. I don't have the time to search out the internet to find who you are talking about.

I checked and what you put is just right! Thank you so much for this, and all you do in this community!

All of your edits processed. Thank you. Her father Wiley is shown w/two spouses, neither of whom could have been Frances' mother; their birthdays too close to Frances'. Do you know if Wiley had an earlier wife who could have been Frances' mother ?

You're very welcome! Another person's information is on the opposite side of the stone. I wasn't able to get a picture of it yesterday - that side was totally shaded - but I'll try to get it later. I'm going back to work on the other photo requests. Melanie

Thank you so much Lois!
|John Wayne Hickman||Andrew Hickman|
Not sure what the question concerning Andrew Hickman would be? However, as you will note, I posted on that marker, as well as several other of my GG Grandfather's brothers that they are not buried at Sardis. However, a search of Find A Grave did not turn up any grave sites for any of them. But, please be aware that those markers are in the Cemetery at Sardis. I have collected several pictures of the brothers and have posted them, and hope to find more. My GG grandfather is buried there and some of my relatives placed those marker for several of Joseph Mastin Hickman, that served in the Civil War. There is one for John Thomas Hickman, Green L Hickman, Andrew Jackson Hickman, William Lumpkin Hickman and Stephen Duke Hickman.
Sorry for the confusion. Are you kin to the McDonald's of Georgia? I worked with Virginia D McDonald of Macon, GA for several years back in mid 1990's

I've got the information uploaded to this memorial as you suggested. Thank you for your assistance.
