Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been a Family History researcher for more than 20 years. My primary lines are: Miller, Matlock, Garrett and Dodson which came together in Franklin and Crawford, Arkansas. It's amazing how the migratory paths of these lines converged in these places at approximately the same time.

We have to know that there is a divinely ordered pathway set for each of us, that we may be born and live out our lives with a purpose. Some events are happy; others are tragic, but they all play a role in making us who we are.

Here is an example of this fact:

One of my great great grandfathers was murdered in Alabama in 1879. His widow and children came to Franklin County, Arkansas where a daughter married one of my great grand fathers, and began that line. As sad as the story is, neither I, nor any one in this line would probably never have been born, had not such a tragedy occurred. This is not to honor the perpetrator, but to show that God can bring good out of the worst of situations, and He does so on a continual basis.

It's important for people to know who their ancestors were, and be mindful of the many great sacrifices they made that the present generation may have an opportunity to live good and productive lives.

My hope in participating in the Find A Grave project, is to help others re-connect not only with their ancestors; but with other family members whose connection has been lost through time.

Milton Garrett
Milton may or may not be related to me - I do have Garretts who came to NE MO with Cook & Pitcher families from KY. But what I do know is that Milton and his first wife were married by my husband's g-g-grandpa John Ford. I am constantly looking for information on him and recently decided to look up the couples he married; Milton Garret is the first one I found. If you know of anyone with knowledge of him I would sure like to hear from them!

Wall Grady Miller
The relationship information for this person is incorrect.

This man was not the husband of Pearl Outland Miller (1900-1975). He was not the father of Yvonne and Suzanne Miller.

The man married to Pearl Outland Miller was William Grady Miller (1894-1984). He was born a decade later and died decades later than this man.

The husband of Pearl and the father of Yvonne and Suzanne Miller was William Grady Miller (1894-1984) who lived in Calloway County and was a banker his entire life.

I know this family, Yvonne Miller was my mom.

I just sent a link request on a Miller at Mt Hope Cemetery in Franklin. In the process of linking the memorials I'd created to parent memorials, I notice that they are all apparently in your family. If you'd like for me to transfer the memorials for John A Miller and family, just let me know.

Ben Miller #53746304
I noticed you had put in a photo request for Ben Miller yesterday. I was wondering, though, I have you requesting him 1 Dec 2013. Did the request expire?

I was at Mt Nebo Cemetery the other day but couldn't spend a lot of time, so I didn't find him. Nor most other requests. I plan to return as soon as the weather gets somewhat normal, maybe that will be later in the week.

On Ancestry.com I found a 4 yo Ben Miller, son of Tobe Miller in Canton, AL in 1880. He's black. I cannot find anything else right now; could this be him? It would put his birth year at 1876, depending on if his birthday was before the census was taken.
