I am retired from the Navy, and have retired IN 2001 after 35 years in Law Enforcement. A couple of my hobbies are the documentation and photographing of the tombstones of the Woodmen of the World and the associated fraternal associations, and the photography and documentation of the Civil War veterans headstones where ever I come across them. I actually actively search for both of the above mentioned types of tombstones in cemeteries where ever I happen to be. My wife usually accompanies me and assists me greatly in these hobbies.
If you have a better quality photo then the one I have posted I will not be offended if you post it.
I'll be more then glad to transfer any memorials, except for my family, to anyone who wishes them, just write and ask. | |

You posted a picture of the grave of Thomas B. Richards at the memorial of Thos. Richard (17580604), which is a duplicate. He was very distant relative. I descend from his sister Catherine Elizabeth. I am however doing a genealogy search for one of his descendants. We just discovered that Thomas was her great great grandfather.
