|As a researcher of my family heritage, I have found many helpful tools. Find a grave is an excellent resource to share family records and the "extra" records I have cataloged in my surname searches. |
I have only a few relatives at Mt. Olivet. I have attempted to present the records in an easily searched venue. Original data in spreadsheet form can be found here (http://lovelylane.net/home/internment-records/). This file has now been updated to include an indication that the grave has a stone or no stone. Check it out.
Anything I post may be used elsewhere but I ask that you properly attribute me as a source.
*****If you are related to the person I created the memorial for, I will transfer the memorial to you, with the exception of a few surnames I have a research interest in. Please use the "Edit", "Suggest a correction" feature.******
Living north of Baltimore, MD and locating relatives when I can.

Sorry I should of used the name edit. I can do it still, that way it is easier for you.
Could you please correct the first name field for R. Switzer. You accidentally added a date in it.

|Glenn Plonk||Cora A. Riggin Walraven|
Saw your posting on Find A Grave concerning Cora Walraven. I have been researching the maternal side of my family for a number of years....on and off. Cora Riggin who died in 1903 following a train accident in West Virginia was married to Isaac Francis Walraven (date unknown). My grandmother was Isaac's 2nd marriage in 1906. Isaac died in Baltimore in 1931 and is buried next to Cora and their only daughter (Mabel) who died in 1900.
Isaac and Cora also had two sons. I always wondered if Cora took her own life due the lost of Mabel who was 1 when she died and because of circumstances related to the move from Baltimore to West Virginia where Isaac was working for one of the wild cat oil companies in Sisterville. The oil boom quickly busted.
Did you by any chance find a marriage record for Cora and Issac? I found the news paper articles you posted, but no wedding.
Also, Isaac was born in 1867 in Delaware.
I also sent you an Email to the address you posted.
