Family & Friends,
I will be glad to make corrections, additions and add links.
I am not collecting grave-sites, so if I've posted a memorial for someone who belongs to you, then I would be happy to make a transfer.
Please note that copying any of my information and photographs, then posting it on other websites (i.e.- Ancestry.com) makes me quite unhappy. It also violates the stated rules of all respectable websites. And irregardless, it is a violation of copyright laws... hence, illegal.
I am finding so much of my own material stolen and re-posted on other websites with the violator taking credit for my research. I have even had one 'advanced' reseacher tell me she regards all material free for the taking, "no matter the source". That has been dealt with.
I am actively working to have these violations remedied. Most of these are occurring on Ancestry.com, which is no surprise.
If anyone sees a photograph I took, and wishes to add it to their family tree on Ancestry.com or add it to their private family tree, just ask me. It is the right thing to do. And it makes things so much nicer.
Please help Mr. Terry from being unhappy. Thank you. #:^)
Much success to all.

Terry, you have posted several memorials to this cemetery in Wayne County. If you have been there personally, can you give directions on how to find it? Thanks, Judi Wilson

You are certainly welcome. :) Misinformation is one of my pet peeves... in case you didn't know! LOL I try my best to document everything I can! Just visited West Virginia for the first time ... and spent 11 wonderful days with cousins and a Thomas family reunion. Had an opportunity to visit Farley Hill cemetery ... so quaint and so out of the way! My cousin and I photographed the entire cemetery ... even graves marked with stones and flowers but no other information. I have added almost all of the information on the Farley Hill cemetery site ... still have the unknowns to post, in hopes that some loving relative will come along and identify/claim. I have never added unknown graves... have you? How do you go about adding them to the website?
Thanks for your kind comments ... and enjoy your weekend! It's HOT here in California!

The information came from my great grandmother - her mother- who stated that she was born at Backus, where they lived when she was born. Since my great grandmother is no longer living, and this is my family, I am trying to correct the misinformation that is out on the internet.

Hello Mr. Collins, I'm Robert Patterson and am tracing family roots . Would like a transfer if at all possible. She is the mother of my G,G,Grangfather's first wife. I used to live in her old house in Beckley W.V.,I have some family links I can add and I'm currently researching more info on her and her husbands family so have more personal info coming soon . I'm trying to get the family under one roof so to say, something my Grandmother ( she lived in the old Prince house most of her life )always wanted to do, Both Alethia's daughters married into my family ,by marrying into the McCreery family. Thank for creating the memorial in the first place and if your related, can I ad info ? Would prefer transfer however. Thank you for your time . Robert C. Patterson .
First I would like to thank you for all you do. I have discovered a Great Aunt who died at 10 days old in 1937. Her name was Maria Valma Diamond. She was born March 15, 1937 and died March 25, 1937. Her parents were Burley Diamond buried in the Cox Cemetery Wayne County, WV. Her mother was Docia Berry Diamond. She is buried in Springfield, Ohio. I am just letting you know ; one of your unknown graves in the Curnette Cemetery is most likely her. Her death Certificate states she was buried March 26, 1937 in Curnette Cemetery Wayne County, WV. Thanks again

FYI. Based on your results, I subscribed to the newspaper web site whose URL you gave me. I have already found some useful information in just a short period of time. Thanks.
