We encourage messages from folks with verifiable information that would confirm or correct information contained in memorials I have posted. I will be happy to add additional information to memorials provided by verifiable sources. Feel free to leave your flower offerings to memorials I have posted.|
12/31/15: Fellow researchers I do apologize if I have not responded to your messages. Due to family health issues I have not been doing any research or postings for almost 3 years and I really do miss being actively involved in the exchange of research results. Recently there have been changes in the health issues and hopefully I'll soon be getting back to researching, exchanging information and posting research findings at findagrave.com.

|Daphene Richard||Solomon C. Mullins|
Norm, Today (July 14, 2016) I have been working on connecting some of the Mullins family members to each other. I believe that in the Ward Cemetery, Cedar Grove, WV. are the parents of Solomon C. Mullins Jr. His brother Patrick M. Mullins is buried in Montgomery Memorial Park, London, Kanawha, WV. What led me on this adventure is that I was trying to find the parents of infant Charles Patrick Mullins who is buried in Ward Cemetery. The parents of Charles Patrick Mullins was Harry E. Mullins and V. Pauline Barker Mullins. Thought perhaps this would help you also. Daphene Richard
|Lori Ramey Hall||RE: Ora Burchett McClellan|
Thank you very much, Norm!
|Lori Ramey Hall||Ora Burchett McClellan|
May I ask for the memorial of Ora Burchett McClellan (63468474) to be transferred to me? She was my great grandmother.
Thank you very much.
|Belinda Elkins||Merlin Spears Memorial|
The memorial write-up states the following:
"Note: Mabel, Cecilia's sister, married Barb Donald Spears, Merlin's brother."
The sister who married Barb Donald was Madge, not Mabel. Callie Mabel Sergent was my maternal grandmother.
Barb Donald Spears and Madge Sergent married on the 29 Dec 1919 in Lincoln County.
Siblings of Merlin's wife Cecilia were as follows:
Virgie Lee, Desta Mae, Madge E., Madison D., Cecilia Celesta, Callie Mabel, Edna, Walter Howard, and Louis Jackson.

|Larry Fisher||RE: Larr E Vance|
Thanks anyway Norm. Keep up the good work with find a grave and walking cemeteries. Awesome

Norm I just left a public message but it came up alongside other messages that were totally irrelevant to Larry E Vance so I don't know if you got it or not. I am far removed relative o Larry (2d cousin of wife of 1st cousin 2x removed) but am curious as I was also stationed at Ft Carson in Dec 1970 where he died. What was cause of death at such an early age? I hope it was not from Vietnam wounds but if it was is he on the wall and if not we need to get him on it. Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org

|Barbara Baldwin||james Lowe and Hannah Cox|
Norm, maybe you can help me. James Lowe was born abt 1810 in Va married Hannah Cox born 1811 in VA. I have not been able to locate james' father. Many have said it is John Lowe from Berkeley Co., VA. That is such a distance from Cabell County where several Lowe's live. I think I am the only person to doubt John as James father. My thoughts were the possibility of James Lowe on 1820 Cabell co, wvmight be James' father. He and wife are over 45. any documentation on james and joohn as father and son. I know this is not what you do but I have been on a 12 year journey for James' parents.
Thank you for your time, Norm.
Sincerely, Barbara Lowe Baldwin
|Barbara Baldwin||Jesse J Lowe|
The last time I was at the cemetery, Jesse's head stone had fallen and broken in two. That has been about five years ago.
Jon Lowe's was down also. My cousin and I tried to upright Jons' with no luck.
Maybe someone has been able to "fix" the problem by now.
Thank you for listening.Sincerely, Barbara Lowe Baldwin
