I believe Mr. Lacy is a nephew of Sarah F. Lacy Smith. I have, so far, been unable to find his birth record or the names of his parents. Any help would be appreciated. You can e-mail me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org A brief death notice and funeral notice were published in The Register Herald, Beckley, W.Va. I would like to compare records with You. I have several people that am still looking for on this branch... Maybe we can figure it out together!

My name is Kay Mullins and I have some information on Howard Taft and Katherine Mullins. There were 9 children from that union. My late husband was the son of the oldest daughter. The children are as follows: Marie, Everett, Sadie Ann, Darlene, Imogene, Wandel, Eloise, Flordia Faye, and Naomi. Of the 9 children, 2 are living. I have death dates for the deceased if you would like, just let me know. Both Katherine and Howard are buried at Ferrellsburg Cemetery. The family always called it "the point."

My name is Pauline Gravenstein,I have done much
work on the McGarey family. you mentioned in the
Vernon Mcgarey entry in find a grave that you had no marriage info on On his fathers first wife Bertha.
George H.McGarey and Bertha Abdon were married 26 may 1895 in Greenup Co. Ky.
as found in Ky Marriages compiled by Richard and Louise Hardiman
George married second Emma Abdon Bertha's sister.
George was brother to Morgan McGarey my grandfather (long story, for 55 years I thought Morgans son Daniel Morgan McGarey was my father).
George's info came from his daughter
- no longer with us - and Gordon Frank McGarey
who has done extensive work.
Hope this is of interest and that I hear from you soon.

I have another request. Could you connect the memorial of Lewis Green Vance #86077519 to his mother Nancy Ann Maynard Vance #5565745. Thanks.
|Anita Camp||Nancy Maynard Vance|
I was wondering if you could connect your Nancy Maynard Vance #43146787 to her spouse, Paris Smith Vance memorial #76976897. Although, the memorial of Paris Smith Vance is connected to another Nancy Ann Maynard Vance memorial #5565745, it is a duplicate memorial. I have asked the person, Marigay, that is managing the other Nancy Vance memorial if she would connect the daughter, Mary Ann Morgan Vance Mullins, to your memorial of Nancy Ann Maynard Vance. Hopefully she will do that, then delete the duplicate memorial of Nancy Ann Maynard Vance. If she does this, the family will be better connected. I am the GG-grandaughter of Paris and Nancy Vance. Thanks.
