I am a single (42 years old) mother of a 20 year old daughter. She is Princessrugrat on here.
I have a deep love for cemeteries. I love the art, the history, and the untold stories about each resident. I find it peaceful and thoroughly relaxing to walk through cemeteries. I'm working on several but the main one at the moment is Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway, Faulkner County, Arkansas.
I was born and raised here in Arkansas as were both of my parents and all of my grandparents.I started searching my genealogy in the Sixth Grade as a project and haven't stopped since.

Find A Grave Memorial# 106269995
David was my great grandfather. For some reason (probably money)
he was not buried with his wife and the grave is in another part of the cemetery from where she is buried. I have looked for a marker several times over the years and I don't think one exists with his name on it. Are you related also? Are you looking for specific info I might be able to provide?

I do have relatives near Huttig, Union Co., Arkansas.
Some are buried in Harper Springs Cemetery, Huttig, Union Co., Arkansas. Jeannie Blanche Tugwell Pate 1916-2010 & Kenton Logan Pate 1915-1975. Also, Lela Peace Tugwell 1881-1972 is related to me on the Peace side.
I am sure that there are others but, I haven't traced them to Arkansas yet. But, Jeannie has a son still living in Huttig and a daughter in Magnolia, Columbia Co., Arkansas.
Our Pates came from the Carolina's to Mississippi on to Nacogdoches & Shelby County, Texas and then to Louisiana. Orginally from Scotland. | | | Leon Edmund Basile

You are so welcome! Just happy to find his grave and know that it was in great condition after all that time. We have been cleaning some stones as we can.
It took me a while to find it due to the fact that our plot marker received damage during a rain & wind storm. I am so thankful for my 1982 survey list.
