Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

Matthew 11:28-30
28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Psalm 46:1
1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Nahum 1:7
7 The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him,

Psalms 91:1-4
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

Hebrews 9:28
So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:6-8

Mrs Perkins
I checked all known sources at Magnolia today and there is no record of her being buried there. Is it possible she is where her husband is buried? In her obit it says Magnolia church?

Mrs. Perkins at Magnolia Aug Ga
I have not found any evidence that she was buried at Magnolia. I have one more resource that I can look at later this week. Looking for info about her online I found a family tree that listed her name as Georgie A. Trent.

Great! Always glad to make the connections. Have you been to the cemetery? Is it small or are there more graves to explore and photograph?

I have so little information about the Pate Williams cemetery. It could have had another name, maybe the church it was near. I would like to go there someday. It will be interesting to hear what the other person has about it. Please keep me posted. Thanks

Thank you for linking her to her parents. She has other siblings but I'm not sure if they are in the same cemetery.

Here's the memorial number for the other one. It's strange that the death dates are not identical. This one is placed in a cemetery that has a slightly different name:

I believe that she is the daughter of Ben and Millie Perdue - also buried at Pate Williams Cemetery. If there is a way to connect them as family, that would be great.

I have not been able to find that info. I wish we could identify these people. John
