RE: Caukwell and Allisons at St. Marks
I have been looking over their records tonight and thought I would send you this information. I'm hoping it will help you out with your search since I don't have exact locations to provide you with.

Caukwell, Tom Austin, buried August 9 1911,
Caulkwell/Caukwell, Lucy Ann (we spell it Caukwell but on the burial receipt it is spelled Caukwell - her maiden name was Allison) (1849-1901)

Lucy Anns family are:
Allison, Joseph, buried July 6 1979
Allison, Sarah, buried December 23 1882
Allison, Walter Holmes buried April 2 1865

I'm hoping their headstones are there and legible and that I will be able to obtain more information for each of them (primarily Tom and Lucy) so I can find other records online.
The reason I have the burial information is because we have the burial receipts. I've attached them.
With Tom and Lucy, they required 8.5 ft of digging for Lucy and 7 for Tom, therefore I'm assuming they are buried in the same plot.
In regards to the others, they are recorded to be dug: Sarah at 8ft, Joseph at 10ft, Walter at 12ft, therefore I'm again assuming that there may be some double or triple lots there as well.
I'm assuming (hoping) that they are all buried in close proximity in a family plot.

With these deaths being so long ago I'm hopeful but not feeling very realistic about their stones being found.
Even if they are but are not legible I would love to see what the area looks like where they are. I have a dream to come over one day for myself, but that won't be for several years.

Again, thanks so much, I greatly appreciate your efforts!

Caukwell and Allisons at St. Marks
Hello,

Last September you had tried to have a look for my ancestors with no luck due to the state of the cemetery. I've read online that the church renovations are now complete and I was hoping the cemetery is in better condition now.
If you have some time and wouldn't mind checking St Marks cemetery in Leeds for the following I would greatly appreciate it.

Tom Austin Caukwell (Burial or death date Aug 9 1911)
Lucy Ann Caukwell (nee Allison or Halinson) (wife of Tom Austin Caukwell) (Death/Burial date: March

Walter Homes Alison/Halinson (Death/Burial date: April 2 1865)

Joseph Allison/Halinson (death/burial date: July 6 1879)

Sarah Allison (Burial/death date: Dec 23 1882)

I have Allison/Halinson listed as I have found them with both last names. The last names on the burial records are all Alison, however I have seen in other records the last name listed as Halinson.

Thanks so much,
Jenn

Hello Allan,
Have you had opportunity to photograph this grave yet?
Kind regards,
Mike

Armley Cemetery, Leeds
Hello Allan,
Thanks for your kind offer.
There is one other in Leeds at the Armley Cemetery. He is Pte Ernest
Hague 5 December 1919 buried in grave ref. B846.
When convenient perhaps you would take a high resolution photo of the grave close up, and a photo showing the grave in its landscape.
Thanks in advance. Mike Berrell

Lister Holroyd
Hello - I noticed you added a picture of Lister Holroyd to the page about his grave. Lister is a first cousin of my grandfather Edmond Holroyd. I plan on visiting his grave during a visit to France in the next month. May I ask what your relationship to Lister was?

Thanks Much
