Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am very actively pursuing family information. I maintain an Ancestry.com tree, and my brother and I have family photo sites on Smug Mug, where we display the photos we get from family members and kind souls who share on these programs in hopes of preserving and sharing them with all families who need them. It occurred to me when going through my mother and grandmother's huge trunks full of photos that it was sad for one family to have all those treasures and not share. And, so began my many, many hours of scanning and sharing photos and information.

I also enjoy visiting other memorials and cemetaries and adding flowers, pictures or data to memorials that have no information, or very little. My husband and I walk through cemetaries quite often, and find the headstones so interesting. I love adding to the history of these people, and it grieves me to find one that says "unknown" on a headstone. Genealogy has become a true passion.

My lines are Duncan, Mather, Dodson, Smith, Moore, Bullion, Curtis, Whitehead, Barron, Reid, and you know how that goes - many more! I am happy to share information and photos with those seeking help, and so very much appreciate all that is shared with me.

I live in the Hill Country of Texas, am married, and enjoying retirement.

Please feel free to use my information and any photos I have posted. I do not understand the fuss about using someone's photos. If they are sacred and personal, then don't post them, is my philosophy. We are all here to help one another and share for this and future generations. So many photos get lost in fires, animals getting into boxes, etc., so why keep them private? After we are all gone, our grandchildren and gr-grandchildren will someday be searching for images and information, and if I took it with me, they would be left at a loss. There are so many members in my family who suffered fires, floods, tornados, and other losses. But, at one time they DID have a photo of "Great Uncle John", however, now due to some unforseen circumstance, it's lost forever..... Think about it.

God bless and and Happy Trails..

Bessie Lee Moore Sawyer
The picture of the young lady you have attached to Bessie Lee Moore Sawyer is of my grandmother Lillian Beatrice Sawyer Bradford. She was the oldest child of Bessie. Bessie is buried in Bend Texas. You have two photo's connected to Bessie Lee. I have never been able to find a picture of Bessie as an adult. Bessie died at 28 from complications to child birth. My grandmother only had one photo of her mother and it burned in a house fire years before I was born. The other picture with Bessie looks like a lady who is older than 28 to me but I can't identify her. Do you know where you received your pictures? If it can be proven to be Bessie I would be delighted. Thanks for posting and all your work. I can be contacted at pdltx@sbcglobal.net Thanks

Mather family tree (Australia)
Hi Lynda,
Thanks heaps for info on Robert & Amelia Mather. Have been able to pass on to my dear mum who is 86yrs old and is their grandaughter. Her father was Jack Joseph Mather.
She is in a nursing home and it has brought many great family memories back being able to view pictures of them and her Aunts & Uncles.
I wish you and your family a happy life and
look forward to be able to leave a memorial on the family pages from mum.
