Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi! My name is April and I live in Eastern Kentucky in Carter County. Even though I work full time, I love to volunteer for Find A Grave in my spare time, thanks to a friend for showing me this site. I have been a member of Ancestry.com for 10 years researching and trying to locate family information, and these two sites are linked now. When I found out about Findagrave.com I didn't hesitate to volunteer as I understand the value of one single birthdate or death date when completing genology research. If any picture I take can help just one person get answers then it was all worth it. The exercise is also an added bonus! You have my permission to use any photo I take to meet your needs whatever they may be with your research. I'm happy to make corrections, just click on the suggestion tab on the person's memorial and I'll take care of it. Follow those same instructions if you need the information transferred to you. Please understand that you are the expert on your family. When we document burial information in cemeteries, a memorial is automatically created. I promise I do not have a problem making a transfer so you can maintain your family member and tell the world all about them. This site helps people locate their loved ones and family tree information, and I know how valuable that is. Have fun searching and exploring, it's exciting and rewarding.

Elizabeth McGuire Camp
Hi April,
You added a photo of Elizabeth's stone #97641423. It looks like a double stone and I was wondering if you could tell me who is noted on the left headstone.
Thanks, Terri

Isaac Holman
Hello April...I live in middle of Iowa and where all my family live and some cousins also. I am off my aim to do a cemetery as I found more information on the Holman's and was wondering if there is a list of burials in Versailles, Woodford County, Ky. I am not from Holman's but his wife from her 2nd marriage. I also have Martins who are my family...Nathan Holman and family came to Troy Mills with siblings and his mother had remarried and I am looking for first husband of Susannah. Isaac Holman born 1779 died before or close to July 27, 1813 in Woodford County. I do not know what he died from but his father Henry was reported killed by indians but family said no..he was a good friend of indians and they said so also.. family says Isaac had several thousand dollars and went to buy land somewhere with 2 friends also. His body nor horses were ever found and I agree sounds like a cover up... Susananh Martin Holman Long is my line and her parents look like they are buried there to.......has the cemetery been walked and copied who is there. Thanks for any help..Thanks for any help.

Yes, there are two of them. You have the correct pic on the one. The other has two wrong pics that need to be deleted. Thank you
