Unfortunately my time on-line has been very limited lately, due to severe spinal stenosis & several herniated disks. I am in continuous pain, and am unable to sit at the computer more than a few minutes at a time. I apologize for missing your dear ones' birthdays and angel days. I hope to be back soon. Thank you so much for understanding.|
I have been researching my genealogy for many years and now have over 15,000 people in my database and in a private genealogy website.
I am a former Navy Nurse (Vietnam Era), civilian nurse, nurse educator, airline pilot and diving instructor. I am still a photographer & do some tutoring in addition to my genealogy work. I enjoy walking cemeteries and taking photos for you.
I have found thousands of relatives and ancestors who were murdered in the Holocaust. I am entering them, one by one, and so far have created over 2,300 of their memorials, nearly 1500 in Auschwitz alone! They are separated in my virtual cemeteries by camps, and I also created a virtual cemetery for the children. I would be honored if you would stop by to visit them when you are able. I ask only that you refrain from leaving Christian tokens or wording. Thank you so much.
Feel free to add photos to my memorials any time, as long as you have taken them yourself and have not copied them from obituaries. Thanks!!
I am happy to make additions, corrections and family links, and am always grateful for additional information you can send. Please send them using the EDIT feature on the memorial page. I will act on all additions, etc. within 24 hours, if possible.
I would so appreciate if you would stop by my beloved dad's memorial and leave a token so I know you've been there. Thank you so much to those who have already visited him. I have also listed four of my special animal babies & two very special cousins; they would love to see you too. I miss them all. Thank you so very much.
I would like to thank every one of you for visiting my family members & friends. It truly means so very much to me to see all your tokens and notes. You are a very special group of people and I am so grateful to have met you.
In my first virtual cemetery are the children, spouses, and siblings of our Find a Grave family members who have birthdays or Angel Days in December. (I'm a bit behind this month; lists will be completed as soon as I am able.) I hope you will honor them with your kind visits and notes. Below are additional special people to remember in December. I am grateful for your visits.
Special January Birthdays
22: My Favorite Cousin Joan
Special December Angel Days:
25: Colleen's dad
Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

|Esther Kinder||Your Mom|
I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's diagnosis. It is a hard one I know. That is what I lost my son Ray from. You take care of yourself and my love and prayers are with you. I know what you are going through. I lost both a brother and sister in November 8 days apart.

You are so welcome. It breaks my heart every time I pass a Holocaust murdered victim. Such a great tragedy to God's beloved.
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving with your family. I've been off line for a few days and haven't been able to keep up with flowering or e-mails.
Take care sweet one,

You're very welcome, Sue. He's a stunner, that's for sure. Be sure to tell his grief-striken family that I'm so terribly sorry for his loss and that my thoughts and prayers are with them. ❤

Thank you very much for taking and preparing the memorial photos! Volunteers Rock!
|ENZita||RE: Harry Spelke|
You're so very welcome, Sue. Such an incredibly sweet story. And what a lovely tribute you've created for Mr. Spelke! I would imagine that it must have been deeply meaningful to him to have a child take note of his kindness and take the time to write that letter. Well done! I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to participate in a small way and I really appreciate your thoughtful note.
