Find A Grave # 61473942: I am curious if someone has mixed up the two Robert Denton's.
Robert A. Denton: # 58155010 - Born Sept. 30, 1815, Died June 2, 1880. I don't know who his parents would have been. Benjamin and Margaret would have been in their 40's when he was born; not impossible but curious. Might make sense since the other Robert died at such a young age, it's possible that they (Margaret and Benjamin) named another child with the same name. Do you know anything about these two Robert Denton's? Also who Margaret Anderson's parents were?
The other Robert Denton: born Nov. 6, 1796, Died Sept. 9, 1805 (9 yrs. at death). His parents were differently Benjamin and Margaret as his name is inscribed on the tomb. See parents at Find A Grave#'s: 24832534 and 58154952.

In his memorial it was said that Theodorus Denton was the "founder of Daleville College". After doing a quick google search I found no mention of Denton as one of the founders. I did find a picture of the Historical Marker of the Daleville College and it mentions Isaac Beahn, Benjamin Nininger and George Layman.
Do you have any more information as to a copy or website that mentions Mr. Denton as a founder that you could send me?

Thank you for linking Elizabeth Harris #58310059 to her parents.
|Ella Wimer||William Kyle|
The research I have done seems to indicate that this is not the son of Robert Kyle and Elizabeth Campbell. The documented dates do not match. 1730-1821 are the dates for their son.
I feel through the documentation I have that this William Kyle is the son of Sir John William Kyle and Elizabeth Kyle.

When I Googled JWL it brought up this site. I am wondering if you have any other information on him. As a teen ager we had a minister by that name in So. Norfolk and it was my understanding that he moved to the Roanoke area. He meant a great deal to me and I'm wondering if this is the same person. Thanks for any help you might give.
