|Doug Cromer||Mary A Cromer|
Mary is a tenant of Casper & Goldie in the 1940 census. Mary's parents are from Indiana, as are Goldie's. Is Mary's initial for Arnold? Is she related to Goldie? Mary is 28 yrs older than Goldie, so maybe an aunt? Why else would she move from Fort Worth, TX, to live in Los Angeles? Any information would be appreciated.
|Balthazar||Caroline Burd Forrest|
Hi. Caroline Burd Forrest Lawrence Brewer is my great-great-grandmother and I was wondering what relation you are to Caroline and what further information you have on her family. I have been to Oak Hill Cemetery and while they have a record of her being interred there, they weren't sure where exactly. So I was also curious as to if you had some information passed through the family as to what plot she is in. Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
No, Just being a volunteer

Glad to have helped.
I have found the combination Friedrich Wilhelm to be a common name in German families, the combination of 3 initials is beyond my experience.
I don't have a contact with the cemetery. Perhaps hunting down a historical or genealogical society in that county... A county clerk at the courthouse could be another route.
Recent burials there are few. I can't imagine the difficulty due to the steep slope and overgrowth. Certainly there are fallen stones. An overall map would be a huge advantage for navigating the place. Nothing at the sign there and no contact info there as well.
