This set a example and Grave Law in all America!

His first bill he submitted, sponsored, and was passed was the Virginia Cemetery Bill, which forbade any destruction and/or plowing them under of them!

He alone saved the Wild Turkey (Meleagris gallopavo silvestris) from being becoming extinct when he was Chairman of Virginian Wildlife. Yes this is the Bird which the Country TURKEY attained that name. Tom, hen , and poults all.
Benjamin Franklin wanted this as our national Bird.

Thomas Bland Harvey, Sr.
Mr. Bland Harvey was one of the kindest persons I ever met. I have fond memories of Mr. Harvey, Glenn and Louise Payne and their children, and other Nelson County folks at Camp Tye Brook, whenever we visited my grandfather, Dr. Rodger W. Williams 32920566. As you know, he and Mr. Harvey were good friends. All best wishes for the coming new year.

You left flowers on my subject ancestor. I am trying to find interested people to take over ownership of memorials that I currently manage. I have serious health problems and don't want to leave them without an owner. Would ou be interested in taking over Deborah?

Brad Hadley.

Virginia Ware's

To my knowledge we are not related to the Virginia Ware's unless someone can tie Andrew Ware born early 1700's and died 1758 into their line. Our beginning as far as we know it is 1733 here in New Jersey. Have a good day..Horace

Lille, Santes and Pas-de-Calais
I found a useful website in French at this url:

It's author did a good job documenting Protestants born in Santes who moved to Cadzand.

Santes, Lille and Pas-de-Calais France are all near one another and keep coming up as birthplaces (at least in my tree) for the ancestors of people living in the Sluis/Cadzand area of Zeeland, NL.

Google can translate the page fairly well to English.

William Silliman Hillyer
I noticed that you left a flag for William Silliman Hillyer on November 4, 2014. First, I'd like to say thank you for your recognition and secondly, I was wondering if you were related in some way. He is my Great, Great, Great Grandfather. I'm trying to do my family tree and anything you may be able to tell me about him would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

DeMallie @ Cortland Rural
Hi, Was going thru the emails you sent me re Lena & Raymond De Mallie. They are listed in Cortland Rural Cemetery's registers. I see you have them at Mount Hope cemetery in Rochester too.

I am not related. Cortland Rural Cemetery is a "labor of love" for me. I am working on recording the cemetery with photos and correcting records as I go...and in doing so, helping people find their families/ancestors.
