Bio and Links
Bio Photo Thank You to all who took pictures of my families Graves I have wrote on. I have added details not already known.

I enjoy History and Researching my Southern Families. I will add info/Pictures as time allows, I cannot give a complete History to all the Graves I write on, and I hope what info I write, will help you in your own Researching.

I am a Proud Grand Daughter of Several Revolutionary War Soldiers, War of 1812, and their Sons and Grandsons who were in The Confederate States Army.

Please be sure to Visit Rev. John William Jones, Minister to Gen. Robert E. Lee and The Armies of Virginia, I have wrote much about him at:
FAG Memorial# 88614186, or just write in "Jones", in searching my Memorials. There is also much written there, about "The Confederate Memorial Chapel" in Richmond, Va., which is opened to visitors.

I try to write all of The Soldiers Info I can for the Revolutionary Soldiers, SAR, DAR, War of 1812, and SCV (The Sons of Confederate Veteran's) and UDC (United Daughters of The Confederacy) So if you find your Families, this will enable you to join.

It's Simple, really;
Because They Lived, We Live.

Cindy:
I have transferred the find-a-grave record of William Walker to you.
I am descended from John Sample Dodd and my grandparents are buried in Bethsaida Cemetery. I visited there and took pictures of most of the headstones and posted them. I do not believe William Walker is any relation to me.

RE: Kopperl Cemetery
It was my please to add the picture of Thomas Brooks Willingham. No doubt the Willinghams were plentiful and a great asset to Texas.

I had seen that Kitchen was across the road and that several memorials are in both places. Have you asked the ones in the wrong cemetery to delete them?

If you happen upon a Gazaway grave would you let me know? That is one reason I do Find A Grave I hope one day to find my great grand parents.

Good talking to you

Hey Cindy, I can't thank you enough for the kind words. Folks, like you, help make it all worthwhile. You have so much history in your family. I can only imagine the pride you feel. We all have to try and keep the memory of these brave men from fading. It's truly the very least we can do in exchange for what they did.

Thank you for posting the biographical info on A.E. Walker, who was my great grandfather's (George W. Walker) brother. Most of our family lives in Georgia, and I was surprised that A.E. Walker moved to Mississippi. I have been researching info about Elisha's 9 children and was wondering where you found your info about A.E.W.'s genealogy. G.W. Walker was a Civil War veteran who had 13 children and died in 1917. Any help you can provide will be appreciated

RE: William Powell
Hi Cindy,

The Powell Cemetery is surrounded by an iron fence and can only hold about 5-6 burials. To date, I am only sure of W.N. Powell's burial. I know that the cemetery is full, based upon my grandfather's stories. He knew who was there and in which order. However, there are no markers.
I believe W.N's second wife, Annie, may have been buried there, but haven't been able to find her obituary yet.
Feel free to create the Powell Cemetery, and to use any of my photos.

At Google Maps https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl

Type this in the search bar and you'll find the exact location of the cemetery:
