Bio and Links
Bio Photo Please feel free to use my photos in your trees and reference as your source.

I try to honor Find A Grave's policies, including their policies on additions of Obits, information on living individuals, and other pertinent info. Please see the "Help with Find A Grave" link on the left side of the page under Actions.

PLEASE NOTE: At the top of every memorial in the right hand corner is an EDIT tab. Please use this tab to request additions, changes or transfers. This links the information directly to the memorial.

Find A Grave has over 100 million memorials and many names are similar. It takes time to find the correct memorial. Memos, notes, or requests left on my Member Page do not give me the appropriate information to make these changes.

Sorry this is so long but to answer frequently asked questions.... I am happy to add biographical information extracted from obituaries. However, unless you are directly related to the person in the memorial, I WILL NOT add any information to a memorial that pertains to a LIVING OR POTENTIALLY LIVING individual, such as names of survivors. This is FAG's policy.

FYI, most obituaries published after 1923 are copyrighted!!!! And as such are not in the public domain. I will not post them.

Thanks so much for understanding,
Sharon J.

Yes, if you credit me for the photograph. Do you have any more biographical information that can be added to his memorial?

RE: Edward Dickhouse memorial transfer
Not a problem Sharon. I saw it was quite a while ago you asked andie if they wanted it and no reply. But it's all good. I do have a lot of history on the man, which apparently never got passed down to his gg grandkids, but I'll figure out a way to get it to them. Take Care, John Day

RE: Smartsville Catholic Cemetery
I'll look into it in a bit. We went for a LONG hike today and my body is killing me. But I'll see if I can do it and if I need help, I'll let you know. I don't live there, my boyfriends friend does so I"m not sure. But it seems like a nice quiet town to live in. I wouldn't mind it. I live in Mojave, CA. Desert, yuck.

RE: Smartsville Cemetery
Hello again. I just finished reading the rest of your message. All the ones I added came from the on McGanney. I hope that helps some. My boyfriend told me that there was a big legal issue between the two or something. I don't know. Ha ha. I just like taking pictures and when I saw it I had to photograph it. My PLAN was to take the broken headstones and piece them together in Photo Shop or something but that proved to be more difficult than I thought it would be so I gave up.

RE: Smartsville Cemetery
Hi Sharon. A friend of mine lives just down the road from the Catholic one. I thought I was adding them to that one. Then once I got almost halfway finished, I realized 1) that most had already been added and 2)they were going to the other Smartsville one. At that point I just gave up. I don't know how to fix it. But I am so happy you were able to separate the two. It was such a lovely cemetery. I loved the fact that most were descendants from Ireland.

Why do you think this is the same person? What is the link?

Maybe we should make note of a possible alternate spelling in the text. It would be nice to have your reference included with the bio.

Thanks for checking.

Mathias Decker
I went back to Forest Hill and this time they found Sie M Decker. His burial location is Sunset; Lot 276; Grave 1. I went to the grave site and he does not have a marker.
