Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am retired from the Navy, and have retired IN 2001 after 35 years in Law Enforcement. A couple of my hobbies are the documentation and photographing of the tombstones of the Woodmen of the World and the associated fraternal associations, and the photography and documentation of the Civil War veterans headstones where ever I come across them. I had ancestors who fought on both sides of the Civil War. My great Grandfather (Fathers side) fought Confederate (Texas Cav) and his twin brother fought Union side (Colorado Cavalry). My great Great grandfather (Mothers side) fought For the Union from Ohio. I actually actively search for both of the above mentioned types of tombstones in cemeteries where ever I happen to be. My wife usually accompanies me and assists me greatly in these hobbies.

If you have a better quality photo then the one I have posted I will not be offended if you post it.

I'll be more then glad to transfer any memorials, except for my family, to anyone who wishes them, just write and ask.

Thank You so much for the pictures. It really means a lot to our family. This is the part of our Austin family that moved to Rifle, Colorado from Missouri in the late 1800's. It is great to have the pictures of their last resting place. Someday I hope to get to rifle and see all the family members there.

Again - Thanks so much

Yes, I would appreciate if you would transfer Linda Sprague's memorial to me. I will take good care of it.

Thank you for the picture of my Great Uncle's grave. I have only been to Evergreen Cemetery once and did not know where to find my family!

I appreciate your work very much!

I too am interested in the Civil War. My family fought Union!

Thanks again,

Linda K.

Cal Harrison
The page for Cal Harrison (Edgewood Cemetery in Chillicothe, MO) says "Gravestone Photo by Celia Ireland," but there is no gravestone photo, just a cemetery photo. I believe that Cal was an ancestor of mine,so I really would like to see an image of the gravestone.

Thanks, Jack Harrison
