I started Genealogy in 1999 as something to keep my mind busy as I am disabled and to make a Family Bibles for my daughters.|
I got hooked. I try to contribute as much as I can here.
Please do not leave messages about my doing Memorials. I have had several mean comments left on my message page. I DO NOT PUT IN MEMORIALS UNLESS THEY ARE CONNECT TO MY HUSBAND OR ME.
Recieved this message in regular email, so I have removed my email address.
I am his birth mother and I do not appreciate that his grave site picture is on this website and I want it removed. Whomever put thes name as the parent and didn't investigate who the birth mother is, possesses poor journalistic skills.
Here is the link I want removed! In the past couple of years when I discovered this non-sense, I have written to all and they have removed their comments. Please do not make me hire a lawyer to have these pictures removed because I will! Who gave anyone the right to do this? No one has the right because this type of non-sense is just asking for thieves to steal identities.
Here is my phone number if you wish to call. I will not be pleasant as this is extremely upsetting to me. If you were a "true mother" - permission would have been asked. It is not difficult to investigate and hire people to find the mother of this child. As a maintainer of this website, you and your colleagues behaved extremely reckless in this matter.

Actually, you can add as many memorials as you want to, as long a the information is public record: birth and death records etc. Obituaries can be added as long as you have newspaper or funeral home permission. Individuals who write hateful letters are just that, hateful. I've received insulting remarks from other contributors, but we can't let these unhappy people steal our joy! Work on and continue to contribute and enjoy what you do!! There will always be silly people out there with nothing better to do than be snarky!!

Thank you for providing the source for his information.

Dear Annette, Thank you for the obituary for this lady. I have posted it on her memorial and I also did some research on her and posted that too. I found where her parents were buried and created memorials for them and also found their obituaries and posted those for them. And I posted a memorial for Delilah Louise's sister as well as an obituary for her. And lastly, I asked the contributor who has the memorial for Leroy Turnpaugh to link him to his parents. I think that's about it. Happy Easter!
|Sharen A. Durler-Pflughoeft||Hanna Cemetery: Donna Fay Wells Stem|
Annette...many thanks for providing the links to Donna's parents and for the additional information from Donna's parents' obituaries. I added the links for parents and husband...and submitted additional bio information selected from her parents' obits.
If you are family, please let me know and I will be more than happy to transfer memorials to you. I haven't visited the Hanna Cemetery for some time but did not find Donna's son, Donald Francis (Roland) Stem's gravestone in the many pictures that I had in my old file. I would assume that he is probably also buried in Hanna...but have not confirmed this.
Thanks again for your kindness in providing additional information for Donna's Memorial. So sad to find that you have had "nasty" comments/demands regarding some of your memorials. I also have experienced a limited amount of this...but have chosen to just ignore, because the benefits that I have gained from the many wonderful Find A Grave volunteers have more than outweighed those few. Just know how much I appreciate your wonderful work in documenting the burial places of our loved ones. Blessings to you and keep up the great work!!

|Marie (Wells) Piceynski||RE: Sandra Jo Brock|
Annette, No Sandra was not married to James Douglas Stubbs. She was married to Thomas Milton Stubbs. He is my friend so I put up the info on her and her family. Also I changed the city on Preston Brock, Sandra's father. I thought I had put that info there. Are you kin?

You requested I link him to his father Pleasant Archie Brock, Sr. but didn't include his memorial number.

|Reed Blain McAtee||RE: Whitmire Memorials|
Hi Annette, I am not sure what you are asking. I am from the Blain(e) side of the family and do not have any information on the Whitmire family. Let me know exactly and I will try to help.
